At least I was right in trusting Ebum I guess.
I read Ketbra's "confirmed conversions are in the game" as a snide reply to Ebum's "I made them an offer they couldn't refuse." and then Ahava just seems to be commenting on that.
I'd also have considered a serial-killer type snitch who, for whatever reason, also wants to get rid of the other snitches. This, I think, is less likely from Obi, but the snitch-cult hypothesis has some chance of being true.
Sure it does. It swaps the theme of the game such that we're rewarded for detecting alignment switches via the vote record. Same idea, different angle to come at it from.
That said, I doubt the conversion idea mostly because the favor-point mechanic seems to be assuming that we really want to have at least two favors to call in before it gets useful, but has entries for much higher totals. As such, it'd be really hard to reach them without a regular-sized mafia.
Plus, as we saw in Niceville, just throwing a cultist out there alone is really tough for the village to pin down if the leader plays it at all well.
So chances are something got misinterpreted there or the bad-guys have a Favor system of their own and converting people into snitches is one of the things they can buy. If so, it's probably not cheap.
Auralynx I really need some favor and I wasted last night's vote. Sorry bud.
You're going to be disappointed if you think I'm worth a favor as a vote target, however.

because it seems like a solid strategy for me to focus on seering one person through vote record (if possible) and another with the seer power (if the first person's mafia).
I don't know about that Lucedes. Capfalcon seems to have that covered, if we can trust him.
As it is, it's pretty apparent that ebum must have declared his specialness to a snitch.
That late swing would only have been forced if he had used this, and the snitch must have been alerted to it to switch their kill target to the previous vote leader 15 minutes before vote close.
Of the players that voted late to save ebum, there are kime, cesareB and Flarne.
Flarne's vote smells suspect due to virtually declaring that ebum is a special, as that's the only argument a villager can make.
However, of the three, cesareB is the only one that has any chance of having voted for a mafia, even before the ebum call (Flarne voting ebum, kime not having placed a vote yet).
It also correlates with TA's voting patterns.
I have known TA to vote purely for mafia when playing mafia, and cesareB/Megafrost lines up with cesareB's one Favor Megafrost/ebum-> Ketbra vote record.
This may not be the case here, but if he were trying for the vig power, this is something I would definitely see TA doing.
So basically I'm saying that cesareB, Megafrost and TA are all snitches.
I also stuffed up and guarded last night, expecting to be horribly murdered. But then those death results happened. So there's not much point staying on Drez -_-
