I think I just gonna budget-blais on a new monitor that is HDMI ready and has a headphone jack so I can just plug in my computer speakers
I mean, making a frankenstein jury rig would be awesome but all the parts together are gonna be 70% of a new monitor plus a chance it wouldnt actually work and efffff that
Shovel Knight is Mega Man + Dark Souls. It is very good so far. Currently trying to beat the Spectre Knight.
How is it like Dark Souls?
The death penalty is very similar. Gold is the only progression "currency" (thus far), and when you die it takes a specific portion of your gold (like 1/3, I think) and leaves it floating wherever you died. You respawn at your last checkpoint (represented by lanterns), and can recover what you lost, provided you can make it back there.
A fan of mine named O'Dwyer from Ireland wrote me and I couldn't help but tell her about Danny O'Dwyer from Gamespot because I'm real classy like that, and then she got confused because her brother is named Danny and reads Gamespot. Long story short, they're not the same guy and there are a lot of Danny O'Dwyers!
So it turns out that the Agitha in Hyrule Warriors is actually the bug princess from Twilight Princess who collects and categorizes insects and throws a perpetual party for them
She fights with a parasol. Most of the time. She can also summon bugs.
The screenshots are small, but in one of them you can see what looks like a glowing golden rhinoceros beetle the size of a pick-up truck tearing the shit out of enemies while Agitha cheers it on

nope, never. also the strongest beam in the game seems to only do 15 damage.
