So Jeff says on his latest Jartime that the best way to get into the industry is just start doing stuff, like immediately.
I want to start immediately doing stuff. I just don't know where to start. I have coding/design/video skills so I wonder if I should start drafting up a little site I can easily host and update that would be the home for all my content, or if I should just use Wordpress or something for now and start doing content.
For content I have this vague idea to start doing some video essays or something like Patrick recently did, and there are two game companies in my city (Halfbot and Digital Extremes) I could feasibly contact and after a bit of solo work see if I can film something/talk to someone. I want to start doing something daily and weekly writing wise, maybe chronicle my experience playing through a classic game I've never played?
I'm definitely going to start writing down ideas and start some framework. Hold me to this guys, I know I can do it I just need to get started.
Waffles for life. So much better than pancakes. Also I'm never going to be able to see pancakes again without thinking of this. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=uloT8V6Skgk

Better believe I stopped and listened to that business while doing some arts leveling and such like
Steam
i think my favorite area visually is eryth
Saaame
That music, too. God damn.
Makna's view is pretty incredible as well
Xenoblade a gorgeous game guys
How did they even do that on Wii hardware
eryth is maybe the most vibrant area in the game, especially at day
but at night you have meteor showers and floating islands and stuff
eryth maybe isn't as 'dense' as satorl or gaur but its much bigger in scale
this is best fucking thing

I don't even life two best friends but I don't see a better way you could possibly be introduced to this game.
It's pretty amazing at night, too. Just in a different way. Also the music changes iirc and is just as good as day music if not better.
Mario Kart
Super Mario 3D World
Xenoblade
Watch_Dogs
Play 3D World first
Xenoblade is a good game but it is so massive that it can wait a bit
Those others aren't
But do watch dogs last or never, regardless
3D world then xenoblade

Its pretty much a puzzle platformer. Like oddworld or vessel. Its fairly easy so far, bit I'm not even done with the first of the 4 acts.
Very simplistic puzzle/adventure
and then all my hopes died
So, I just tried this. Here are the results:

If they're just big floppy wads of dough then ehh
But if there's like a millimeter thick layer of hardened crunchy dough over the outside then yes

The only logical conclusion is that Hideo Kojima is the director for the Korra game. It all makes sense now!
I know he was the dude for bayonetta and Revengeance and w101
