Also let's talk about the TV show, which has some of the most incredible body horror I've seen on children's television. The jokes are hilarious, and the Casey and Raph bromance is a delight.

The body horror stuff in TMNT is not to be underestimated, it's legit terrifying and I actually wish they'd tone it down a bit

That said the season 2 finale was FANTASTIC

It's about damn time we got a Karai firmly on the side of the turtles. I'm hoping she will occupy sort of a sixth ranger position, along with Slash.

You're still building them...you go in and pick out a turtle shell (hehehe) and then take it to the machine and shove the hose thing in its back and push the pedal to fill it with fluff and then you take a heart and do the little routine of rubbing it on your heart and head and elbow and stuff and then kiss it and put it into the turtle and then they tie it up and you go give it a fake bath and make a birth certificate...

The first picture is a flawed clone of April. And yes, it's canon in the currently running show.
The second picture is a terrified baby. Probably less canon.

I haven't liked a lot of the new mutants though, mostly too gross
