Aw, they bumped it up to 40.12. Still better than no sale, but I'll wait some more.
Thats a good enough deal that if you wanted TLoU and it was on your "watch list" then I'd personally say pick it up. One of the best games I've played this year.
I loved BG&E, but going back to it after all these years really makes you appreciate not thinking about saves. Manually saving all the time really kills the flow of the game, and then I glitched through a floor and had to quit and realized I hadn't saved in 3 hours.
So there's apparently some sort of SNK sale this week, too.
Garou Mow (XBLA) 50%$4.99
KOF 13 (GoD) 50%$14.99
KOF 98 UM (XBLA) 50%$4.99
KOF 2002 UM (XBLA) 50%$4.99
KOF Sky Stage (XBLA) 50%$4.99
Metal Slug 3 (XBLA) 50%$4.99
Metal Slug XX (XBLA) 50%$7.49
NeoGeo Battle Coliseum (XBLA) 50%$4.99
Samurai Showdown 2 (XBLA) 50%$4.99
Samurai Showdown SEN (GoD) 50%$9.99
Also, apparently to highlight that Battlefield Bad Company 2 is now free for GwG, there is a bunch of Gold Only things on sale for the game and other previous Battlefields. No idea if it's for one or two weeks and no list because to hell with it. Most things are 50% off but a couple are 67%.
And Assassin's Creed Liberation HD is also part of this week's Ubisoft sale. 50% off for about $5. I'll finally pick it up at that price point which means it will be free on Nov. 1.
And anyway, stores advertise shit all the time that isn't actually on sale. Actually lowering a price and then telling people about it is at least a little bit better.
Hey, Deals Thread, a friend of mine wants to get a PS4 but since she's on permanent diability she needs to get it by trading all her old stuff in. Where can I go to watch what the best trade in deals are and when they kick in?
slickdeals.net and cheapassgamer are probably your best bets. The destiny bundle was on sale in places for 415 or so recently, but I dont think you could trade in.
If she plays her cards right, sometimes stores do 100/150 towards a ps4 if you trade a ps3/newer 360 in.
slickdeals.net doesn;t seem to list any trade in deals and honestly I can't make heads or tails of the cheapassgamer site. Is there a thread or page that tracks trade deals there?
Yea, you want to check the Video Game Deals forum. There is usually a game stop thread and amazon and whatever where people report the trade in values they just got.

That's not what I need then. I just need somewhere I can watch for trade in deals; like 30% bonus towards such and such sort of thing.
I guess I'll just watch the gamestop web site itself.
Also the Android/iOS Gamestop app now can give you trade values on hardware/games so that can be a big help to see if their prices compare to Amazon/Bestbuy/whoever.
Dragon Age Origins (GoD) 75%$3.74
Dragon Age 2 (GoD) 75%$4.99

DA2 Mark of the Assassin (DLC) 50%$4.99
Kingdoms of Amalur (GoD) 67%$6.59
KoA Legend of Dead Kel (DLC) 50%$4.99
I waited and waited because I figured there'd be more. And there was. But not all the DA2 DLC is on sale. Only two of the three story packs and none of the class packs.
Can't confirm if there is anything else since Nelson has, once again, neglected to post anything. Oh, but motherfucking Duck Dynasty is available for the X1!
So there you go.
And tomorrow is the last day for Battlefield Bad Company 2 as part of GwG. Darksiders 2 begins on Oct. 16.
Probably. I have yet to see BioWare even come close to getting it right. Just pointing out that there are something like a dozen DLC items and only two are discounted.
Those are the only two with actual gameplay content though.
Incorrect, they didn't discount Legacy. Still, since Bioware FINALLY lived up to their side of the bargain, I lived up to mine and bought Mark of the Assassin and The Exiled Prince. Even nicer, that Xbox $6 video credit surprisingly worked for this, so I spent like a dollar or two. Hopefully Legacy will go on sale before Inquisition releases.
I doubt EA is going to ever discount the cosmetic stuff/items. Its kind of just a "There if you want it" thing.
They've done it before, but only for ME stuff. (And not quite all of it, or somehow I missed out when they did.) On the plus side, the cosmetic stuff is bundled for about five dollars, so that's not so bad to just decide and drop the cash on it.
There's still a month to go with DAI and there may be another sale by then.

Yeah picked up the last DA2 DLC. I had figured they would drop them all before releasing Inquisition next month, good to see my intuition came through.

Fair enough. An installed copy of the disc would have identical load times and all that though.
Nordic Games bought Darksiders. Don't know what that will mean in the long run since THQ stuff is all over the place at the moment.

That list feels short... Pleased with skate. I've been wanting to replace my former copy for a while, now.
There is also a Ubisoft sale or something.
And these two have apparently received permanent price cuts.
Whew, I must've squeaked by just before they changed the price!
The Ubisoft sale.

I had already purchased the skate.2 DLC and now they're on sale. Not really bothered, but that's just how it goes, eh?
And I'm more bothered by games that don't allow manual saves. If that auto-save slot corrupts, you're totally fucked.

Okay, then.
And we have a DCU/WBIE sale for everybody.
Pretty blah week.

Don't forget Amazon/Best Buy and whatever as well.
I do. Current values don't matter; she can only go to Game Stop.

That seems...odd...for a discount.

And speaking of X1, there is an Assassin's Creed bundle coming Nov 2.
Perhaps I'll dive into that...
Which games specifically?

Darksiders 2 is free for GwG until the end of the month.
So, yeah. Probably the other three DAO story DLC will be discounted by tomorrow.
