I am lucky there are yards and streets and driveways and such separating houses here or else I'd have been at risk last night of laughing so hard I woke the neighbors. This is hilarious.
I have a new soccer blog The Minnow Tank. Reading it psychically kicks Sepp Blatter in the bean bag.
This strip features my most favorite guest art so far, I love Amy's style.
I'm hoping Jerry and Mike are getting a decent mini-vacation out of this, seriously, but when will these end?
Jerry is having some serious issues. I would expect guest columns until they are resolved.
I think they were planned well in advance and may not have anything to do with that. Mike's latest newspost mentions that they reached out to get a few guests and ended up getting a whole lot more than they expected.

And given that it's the month leading up to PAX Prime I imagine they'd be happy for the break regardless.

Yeah true. I had not read that before I posted. Still, prayin' for Jerry.
I wonder if living with Abby forces Amy to listen to a lot of russian roulette late at night through paper thin walls as she stares at the ceiling with a blank face whilst a never-ending revolving door of Abby fanboys arrive day-to-day to make sure she's getting the vitamin D she needs.

specifically, a distasteful place.

I've played more than my share of roulette, but alas, too rarely with Russians.
Anyway, it'd be a suitable analogy if you were actively trying to land on the wrong cylinder. Then the percentages work out about the same. If bwang-chicka-wah-wah reliably translated into morning sickness, this planet would already be standing-room only.

Sorry, I was making a reference to her one line from strip search. I wasn't trying to be 'edgy' but it seems I stepped on some toes. I'll be less ... graphic in the future. My bad.

Cool.
On the topic of the sixth panel, I love that face she drew for herself.

Duh Ronaldo, Abby said she got into webcomics for all the C and all the D.
Vitamin D is from New Girl.
(which is also funny, but not as funny as Amy and Abby)
Between this comic and Jerry's sad post, I continue to be completely bewildered that anyone would ever want children.
Well, that's what strikes me about all this - this whole guest-panel series has been a relentless drumbeat of how awful children are.
As someone who has a large family (4 kids), and is from a large family (5 kids), and is married to someone from a large family (7 kids), this line of thinking is absolutely foreign to me :-P IMHO kids are awesome, and most of the negatives are largely overplayed, even when (like me, and now possibly Jerry too) you have one who has major health issues that occasionally leave you in terror.
A couple comics with this theme are funny - but we're going on 6+ in a row now, and that's kinda stark....

I think that's an exaggeration. Today's by Krast Stwawp, yes, and this one by Amy, yes... the joke in all the others, more or less, was incorrect explanations of where babies come from and embarrassment in trying to explain it.

Blimey that's cold! PA rarely gets a reaction out of me these days; that one certainly did.

Massive Crystal Cavern!
Also, so much truth in this strip.
(But not having money is worth it)
Also, good comic.

So what are you implying about little Gabe's mom?
nothing? I'm talking about ronaldo's post.
Ah, nevermind. Thought you were referring to the 6th panel.

Jesus, I had no idea.
I love Jerry, he's one of my heroes. I don't know what else to say.
