They're making a movie out of Neil Gaiman's Stardust.

Robert Deniro is in it to provide the badass.

Ian McKellan to provide the gay (the good kind).

Ricky Gervais to provide the funny.

Peter O'Toole to provide the "agh i guess Venus isn't my last movie after all."

And Claire Danes to prove the boobs.

Oh and Matthew Vaughn is directing, the guy who did Layer Cake but also produced Snatch and Lock Stock and Two Smoking Barrels.

    I went and watched it at yahoo movies so I could get it in windows media and not have it all laggy and skippy b/c my computer is so old.

    Perhaps, but in the book the captain of the skyship was very helpful to them from the moment he found them in the clouds. He never tied them up and interrogated them.

    There is also a comic book adaptation of Stardust, pretty good read and great art by Charles Vess. Worth picking up if you like the book and want to whet your appetite for the movie and all.


    Also, an American Gods movie would be the sex. Vin Diesel as Shadow?

    I've never heard of this book (mostly because I don't read), but that does look pretty damn sexy.

    And I'm not sure if this is a compliment to Michelle Pfeiffer or an insult to Claire Daines, but she's just about 50 and she's still way the fuck hotter than Claire Daines.
