Bug? Text string caused disappearance of sentence!

I had this totally random string (literally just slapping at my keyboard) at the end of a paragraph (you have to remove the leading and trailing double quotes for the effect): "*(&#*(@"

And the paragraph disappeared. This was in the Wasteland 2 thread in G&T. I did a few edits and moved that string to other lines. Same effect for each line/paragraph I had it after. Other lines/paragraphs showed up just fine.

Like, I'll add five lines below with the string after it and one, two, and four will not show up. They still show up in edit mode.

Oh, some more testing (and maybe I'm dumb and this is known already) but an @ symbol at the end of a line makes the line invisible. Is that intended behavior?
