"Awesome of the week" -New Avengers further solidifying my new belief that Daniel Rand, the Immortal Iron Fist is the best guy in comics. Except for maybe Dr. Strange.
"Fucked-up of the week" Speedball in Thunderbolts. What the hell dude.
Dick, Donna, and Bart show up to kick Deathstoke's ass!
You know, I thought the end was totally lame.
Oh look Nightwing and Co. show up to save the day. Man every time the Titans get into shit he and the rest of the ex-Titans show up to save them. It happens like every year. They really need to stop reusing it as a plot point. You could see it coming a mile away.

Well, considering a new, weird Titans Tower had grown up right in the city he was in, I'd say that it'd be silly for him not to check it out.

I liked it because Bart showed up.
Although
do they like, work out the dramatic appearance ahead of time? "Bart, I know you're fast enough to take Deathstroke and his Titans down by yourself before we can blink, but we need to look badass so just show up when me and Donna get there."

Yeah, Bart being there was pretty awesome because Bart is pretty awesome. But did he seriously need to say "And fast?" Because olo he is fast. That was entirely too silly.
For a brief moment, I thought Osborn was going to become Robbie's father figure.

I'm loving this team of Thunderbolts. Osborn is just sooo freaking crazy.
"Steel Spider"
"Yes"
"You said Spider-man"
"No I didn't. I said Steel Spider-man"
"You did it again"
"No. Steel. Spider. Steel Spider. Why would I say Spider-man?"
"I don't know"
"Shut up"
Ok, I'm not sure if this was the case but in New Avengers when the Mighty Avengers visit Strange's house Tony does his little scan thing then as they're leaving it was like he quickly turned around really fast and scanned again, hoping to catch them with their guard down.
I thought that was fucking hilarious (granted I may have mis-read the panel).

Norman Osborn is the moment of the week. He tickled me.
Loners - It was nice to see Johnny kicking ass again like throwing a disk in that bitch's eye. (Anybody notice that this series is kind of geared towards 90s Spider-Man spin-offs?)
New Avengers - The fears scene was amazing. Jan cringing at her abusive husband? zombie Captain America? YES
Thunderbolts - This series is all about Osborne. Tony probably won't let Osborne go after Pete, but you can already tell he's going to do it eventually with or without permission.
What's GLC about? It might be the only DC book I'd consider buying.
It's basically just the adventures of various members of the Green Lantern Corps (space police) patrolling the universe. The comic has kind of a rotating cast, with Guy Garder set as the closest thing the book has to a "main" character, and all the other characters just sort of drift in and out as the story requires. It's pretty much classic space opera stuff; heroes fighting sentient cities, aliens mutated through radiation, and dealing with alien politics and prejudices. It's very, very good, and written primarily by Dave Gibbons (Alan Moore's collaborator on Watchmen), and it's been lucky enough to have a string of great artists working on it.

Yeah, what Munch said. This and Green Lantern are my favorite DC books. If you're gonna start reading GLC, check out the GLC:Recharge trade first, as it leads directly into the current series. It also happens to kick ass. :^:
oh yeah, cause that's some big accomplishment. She sleeps with everyone.

'Fuck yeah, me too. What little kid ever pretended to be part of the lynch-mob?'
I didn't see this? Was it in She Hulk and not Iron Man?
EDIT: Just read it. That is some down right fucking atrocious writing.
The writing? What about the way She-hulk's eyes are drawn when she's in bed with Tony?
Oh man, they just looked aweful

Benjamin Franklin used foil covered window glass to create a capacitor. He then attempted to kill a turkey with the stored charge. Instead, he knocked himself out. Franklin later wrote, "I tried to kill a turkey but nearly succeeded in killing a goose."
All of it. "Oh tony, why can you sleep with loads of women and be all bad ass and shit but when I want to be plowed by every male super human they call me a skank? Its so tough being a gamma woman"
Plus everything in general. "Isn';t that a double standard, trouble strikes and the man is clothed and I'm fighting in my underwear I kept on during sex."

This is much more badass if you've read the collection of Alan Moore DCU stories, but it's still a cool splash page on its own.

Though, Nextwave is to blame for my not being able to take the giant red talking dinosaur seriously.
Anally.
Devil Dinosaur was in Gen 13?
How does that work?

He wasn't, it was common or garden variety giant red talking dinosaur.
I kept imagining him wearing a smoking jacket though, and it totally ruined it.

It's a self-referential joke.
And also. Tony Start, super genius. Plugging his computer laden suit into a ship that's having all its computers taken over? Jesus.
Zzzax would have inevitably found a way over to Tony anyway.
