Me and my eldest sister used to both be tall skinny blonde-haired light blue-eyed aryan looking kids. My middle sister however had mostly brown hair and darker blue-brown eyes, along with a shorter and broader physique.
I used to try and convince her she was adopted. Sarah and Melanie are about the same height now, and both have dyed their hair so many times I don't know if it could ever actually go back to its original colour again. Plus Melanies eyes lightened and turned more blue as she grew. So now we're all kinda similar!
When I was a toddler I had bright blue eyes and my parents used to joke that I must have got them from the milkman.
So being a precocious little toddler whenever I met a random stranger and they would say something like, "my heavens where did you get such beautiful blue eyes!"
I would helpfully inform them that I got them from the milkman.
Cue 20 year old me suddenly remembering that over a bowl of cereal one morning and finally realizing the implication.
