Pin Print Runs

I know Penny Arcade only tell us how many prints they do from Limited Edition pins, but I would love to know how this compares to other pins.
Do we know how many East 2013 pin sets are out there? How about East 2014? I know they must have printed a lot more in 2014, but are we taking 50% more, double, triple, 10x times more?
Does anyone know or like to take a guess?
I know a few pins like the Raymond pin have said how many were made, but is anyone keeping track of any other pins that have released the print run size?

As far as we know, every pin that's not DLC has at least 1000.

My guess would be that they don't want to publicise print numbers too much because they'd rather not highlight the fact that many "Non Limited Edition" pins currently have smaller print runs than some of the "Limited Edition" pins. I seem to recall hearing that the minimum print run for a third party pin is 1000? So, with non limited pins in some cases being twice as rare as LE pins like 15th Anniversary and NYE 2015, it starts to muddy the idea of what Limited Edition means.

It would be interesting to know whether PA retains rights to reprint 3rd party pins in the future, perhaps releasing a line of Pinny Arcade classics in the future? As the hobby grows, I could see them doing this as a way to encourage newer collectors, make it easier for them to obtain some older pins. Perhaps even reprints to restock Double Blind boxes. If it gets to the point where there are tens or even hundreds of pins that are functionally unicorns it might dissuade these new collectors. At least with LE pins we know they will never be reprinted again...

LE card was the only one big enough for the Pin. I mean, they could have used a 4 Set card, but that would be ridiculous.

I'm really curious how many of The Order were printed. I recall the devs were bummed about how few they received, so I have to wonder if it was even 1000. Has anyone heard anything on that front?

If I remember correctly, the Strip Search Pin (original) print run was at least 1200 not 1000. As they provided each of the 12 artists with 100 pins to do what ever they wanted with.

Well I remember seeing somewhere that all PAX Prime 2013 pins were 1000 print runs - don't know if that included the set, or only 3rd party pins.

I checked the original Post by Gabe regarding the PAX Prime 13 pins (http://www.penny-arcade.com/news/post/2013/08/27/pinny-arcade-pax-prime-part-2) and it says:

Each of the Strip Search artists has been given about 100 of these pins. It’s up to them how they want to disperse them. There will be a Strip Search booth in Band Land that they should be hanging out in most of the show. They can sell them, trade them or just give them away, it’s up to the artists.

So a minimum of 1200 were printed, but extras showed up at PAX East 14, PAX Prime 14, and even a few made their way to PAX AUS 14. So 1200+ would be my guess.

I think Atoi was 1000, I remember @Fitzchivalry‌ saying he saw two boxes and my understand was each box had 500 pins.
Correct me if I'm wrong guys.

Behemoth Series 1 WERE printed with 1000, but they have reordered them since then according the some employees at Prime '14.

As an added note they said that they thought there may be a series 4, but after that the company had talked about not doing anymore 'new' series.

I added a Inferred section for when we base our count on box numbers or other clever ways.

So we can say that all Behemoth Series 1 pins with a 2013 stamp are 1000 right?

Just throwing this out there: somewhere in the archives somebody at PA talks about how LE pins aren't "limited" by numbers, they are limited in that they'll never be printed again. I believe that was talked about at the time Hanna was announced.

LE means they do one print run, and then that design will never be printed again. All other Pins can be reprinted in the future (for example, if another Rayman game comes out they might just want to use the same head design from last time.)

The confusion started when the Valentines Pin was put on an LE back, because it was the only one large enough to protect the Pin (Unless they used the 4 Pin Set backs, but that would be ridiculous.) To compound the issue further, the Valentines Pin was announced as a run of 1500, which is typical of an LE Pin. But they said they may well use the same design in the future, which means it isn't an LE Pin. Clear? No?

LE Pins are limited by numbers in the sense that they do a single print run and then no more. That print run has been between 1,000 and 2,015 so far.

I'll be surprised if they do another Valentines Day pin at all. I'm all for doing one sorta obscure pin a year. Last year was Valentines day....this year Groundhog day

Wow, that's the equal biggest run we know of and that was a 2013 pin.
