    I sadly make too much money to get stimulus. If only I was better with my money so it actually felt like it. Everyone feel sorry for me now.

    Anyway, I am reluctantly using my 1970s air conditioner today and hoping that it doesn't explode (it made loud banging noises when I first turned it on a couple months ago). Gotta keep my kitties cool.

    Some time ago we were talking about Trader Joe’s and Total Wine, and I pointed out to @Raijin Quickfoot that I had a Trader Joe’s attached to a Total Wine near me.

    Richfield is weird. Split between rapidly gentrifying suburb and the area around the airport, which is...not rapidly gentrifying.

    So Minnesota got rid of its old racist flag and held a contest for a new one, which was then ground down and sanitized by committee.

    I wasn't in favor of the result (there was an incredible finalist called Mirror Sky that I wanted), but now I have to give the new one props:

    My favorite was the picture of the dog. Just someone took a picture of their dog and submitted it.
    Second place for me is the loon with lasers shooting out of its eyes.
    Third the two headed loon.

    So many good options.

    But at least we have a loon shooting a laser out of its mouth.

    It was one of the arbitrary rules that were introduced that the flag could not have an animal on it.

    Probably because of the dog, and how awesome that would be for a state flag.
