Been playing Sylvanas tonight. She's certainly powerful, but doesn't seem brokenly OP the way TLV and old Thrall were. I think Nazeebo is still the stronger specialist, overall, even after his nerfs. But there's a certain pubstomp quality to Sylvanas, because she's really good at 1v1 engagements when she gets to pick her battles, is amazing at soloing mercs, and she can surprise-push extremely fast if the enemy team allows it. She may not kill towers very fast by herself, but with her, the minion wave stays alive to kill the towers, then proceeds onward as soon as the towers are dead.

It's a phishing scheme, no gm of any game ever will ask you to go to an external site to enter account information.

Yes, it's a scam. I have been reporting them.
Odd there are so many popping up already considering it's still beta and the only guaranteed way in is through a pay wall. What exactly are they hoping to steal that makes a $40 fee thrown away after a guaranteed ban worth it? It's not like this is WoW where they can steal you character and sell off all your stuff.
It's also now super easy to kill the summon, making the level 20 upgrade useless because I've never seen the thing live long enough to expire via the timer.

The health was buffed. Unchanged at level 10, and higher at every other level due to the scaling. At level 20 he has 5000 health, which is a HUGE chunk of health for the enemy team to just burn through. The purpose of the level 20 upgrade is that you summon one in the fountain, he waltzes into a fight a bit late, smacks people around and is generally disruptive, eventually dies, and then the cooldown is already back up and you can summon him again. He also completely wrecks mercenaries and such, meleeing them for over 1000 damage at level 20, which really takes the sting out of the other team capping the boss.
The one issue is that if you die his AI just sort of breaks. He'll chase his last target until your team loses sight, then stand around refusing to do anything except attack minions that literally walk into him.
I've been having a lot of fun playing as the tank lately. Especially as your range gets stupid long. People don't even realize I'm hitting them.
I just played a game on Haunted Mines as Hammer. For some reason at the start of the match a fight broke out over our friendly-side watchtower. I ignored the fight and went up and sieged down the top lane tower and one of the walls in the first 1 minute of the game. Tower died at like 1:07 or something. It was hilarious. Then at the end of the game when I had the graduated range talent, I parked myself in their base but way far out and shot down their core and they didn't even realize it. They were too busy being kited by Diablo to notice the true threat.
Murky is gonna need some nerfs. It's weird that they said they were giving him light buffs, but in reality they were pretty huge.
The egg giving no exp means we're back to egg finding being fairly fruitless (unless killing Murky for good counts as a whole death) and Living the Dream is a ridiculous buff to his AP. The old cooldown penalty on spawn egg should at least be brought back since right now it's pretty easy to avoid True Death unless you're especially careless.

Hammer with range and nexus frenzy is obscene. We generally refer to it as the "kingdom of the hammer", and not even jokingly.

She doesn't. But her enemies do see her siege circle. So that's a bit of a drawback.

That siege circle mostly means "abandon all hope all ye enter here", so it kinda worls out.

Man, just had some amazing games with Jaina :P Really liking her buffs
The first game I just did fantastic. I'm not sure if the enemy team was just super, super bad, but I do know I had a lot of newbies on my team (first guy that took the Dragon Knight didn't know what to do with it, and someone was asking what the best way to earn gold was) and we still completely rocked them. No deaths that match, it was so nice The other two were rockier but we were up against pretty good teams. They were pretty neck and neck the entire time, but still won both
And yeah, new Murky really pisses me off. "Oh, you're about to kill me? Bubble, then butt hump you with an explosion that takes most of your life"

Its also possible that it's not that they didn't realize it, so much that Hammer is so stupid right now that any lone hero that tries to enter her range to kill her will probably die before she does, and they didn't want to risk their other teammates not backing them up.
So seems like my performance has gone to crap after the most recent patch. Just me? Seems like the Mac client is "kinda special", by which I mean about as optimised as some dude licking a window.
Any brilliant suggestions other than dropping the shaders to low? Nothing else seems to touch it; going from 2440xsomethingorother down to 1920x1080 helps by about 2FPS, which is marginal. I mean "medium" was doing at least okay before.

Yeah, if I could turn shadows to "blob" without also having to turn shaders to low, I'd just do that; I know real-time shadows and my mac don't get along. Darn it. It looks so BAD at low...
Finally got a few games in as Valla after the patch.
Haven't tried the MS build yet. I'm feeling the loss of Battle Momentum, but Searing Attacks is a good replacement the AA build, Battle momentum is ok, but doesn't come into it's own unless you also grab Discipline down the line. Overall I still like her, and can still get a ton of work done.
Sidebar: She's got all new, really spiffy looking ability icons. If she and Sylvanas are any judge then this is going to be one classy looking game.

At the very least, the memory leaks seem to have stopped with this patch. But granted, I haven't tried switching back to the 64bit client yet.

If you guys are running multiple cores, open up task manager, find the process, set affinity, and turn off cpu 0. For some reason that always helps me (Windows is dumb and doesn't know how to delegate to other cores apparently). Wish I knew a way to set that automatically though - you can in WoW (processAffinityMask in config.wtf) but no other Blizzard games that I've seen.
god i forgot how totally stupid illidan + rehgar + brightwing + abathur is. just ran into a probably 5 man comp with that + sylvanus on mines, and we didn't have a stun so the game was over before it started. what a stupid match.

You know you had a good graveyard game when your team's Falstad is bottom of the hero damage, Arthas is top hero damage, and your Gazlowe starts off the match barking at everyone to take top because he can solo bot - and then proceeds to feed 6 deaths by the end of the game.
Ugh. Lost 4 hero league matches in a row to Illidan Rehgar. Meta at 1hp and then ancestral during the invincibility frames is so stupiddddddd.
I wish someone would explain to me why Illidan gets a second of invincibility on his ult and does a huge aoe where he casts it when Tychus doesn't even get any extra hp and stuns himself for 2 seconds. But I guess that's why Illidan is the best assassin in the game and Tychus has been dropped to midtier at best.
So I think I started feeling Hammer's HP nerf yesterday.
There were a couple of games where I'd be focused down and I would go down FAST.
But I mean FAST. Like, I even used the med kit instantly and the blast thingie but I still died, FAST.
Hell I couldn't even tell half the time what killed me. There was a raynor but he's not a burst guy so I was like wtf??
Yeah, seems like you have to play way more conservatively with her where sieging in a team fight is going to become more and more rare.
Tyrande is much better now. Overflowing Light is awesome with only 50% required to activate, and baseline bigger stun is really nice. Shame it's impossible to pick up the range talent because battle momentum is too good, but I really like her healing/support build now. I hear her ranger's mark/searing arrows/TSA/huntress' fury/nexus frenzy build is also pretty good, but I haven't tried it yet.
Happy I don't really have to use the owl much for long range hits since you don't pick up any of the talents. I was never really great at owl sniping.
