    Nostalgia caused me to pick up the first issue of Ninjak and it was actually pretty good. The art work is solid and it's doing that thing where it draws loosely on the old mythos while peppering in a bit of a twist.

    The Valiant line in general is extremely solid. They have been quietly putting out the most consistently entertaining superhero line in comics for several years now.

    Avengers Academy-time Eric O'Grady was Ant-Man (and he and Taskmaster did get along). Pym was Wasp at the time (guy has had way too many identities over the years).

    I dunno, Doom is a really good anti-hero when used right. He's always been characterized as having enough sense to want to save the world (so he can rule it)

    The modern interpretation of Doom is that he could be Earth's greatest hero if he wasn't so flawed. The fact that he's occasionally able to rise to occasion just highlights the tragedy of the character.
