I've personally played the game a whole bunch with my brother and granted it was on lan it runs really really smooth!
The fun part is a world of choices is available (HEH) theme's, teams (to be backstabbed), nations you want, massive massive wars, utter warefare, hilarious amounts of diplomatic insults, questionable land claims, and supporting rebels to crush each other are all possibilities I could see happening.
Now I know we have EU4 players but this is also a good chance for newbies to try a game with actual knowledgeable players to explain or answer questions that arise from obscurity of the mechanics. This game is actually really easy to play once you get a grasp of it. It's also really hard to "lose" unless you pick a really shitty start.
Anyways there is a bunch of actual stuff to hash out time zones, settings etc. Let's just see who is all interested and would be down for world wide shenanigans in a very fantastic game

also this game is super cool and as long as the host has all the dlc (I have all the non cosmetic) you can play in the game even without the current DLC and you get to use all the DLC features and tools, pretty cool if you want to see how the game has changed5
