Beaglerush just started a new campaign, not very surprising.
However, he chose anime voices for his whole squad going into the first mission (his gatecrasher bugged so his first mission is post-gatecrasher) and it is hilarious. Highly recommend tuning in.
They also need to explains status effects better for new players. Because lighting melee enemies on fire, or disorientating them, is pretty effing important.

I did it. I beat this fucking game on Ironman/Legendary.
I feel so empty inside, now
I'm on the final mission in Ironman/Leg and so far destroying it. I'm just waiting for my work week to be over because I tend to make dumb mistakes late at night and don't wanna blow it.
I don't have any problem with "unconscious" status. What I do hate however is how rare bleed-outs are. I think I've had 1 in all my games. I recently lost a sgt who had 5 health, got hit for 5 damage, wasn't a crit or anything. He dies instantly. If that's not a bleed-out, what the hell is?
But I think after this run I may just be done until further expansions. Banner Saga 2 is almost here.
I'm like half way through and haven't used any consumables except dom. I have a muton with me. I did have a rapid fire grenadier, I think he was the one I lost . It was so good.
My favorite soldier is my specialist who has gotten 4 perma hack increases for like a total of 265 hack I think.
First I activated a pod just by moving through its line of sight, but not actually its detection radius and then later one soldier activated the last pod my warping through the roof she was standing on and dropping right in the middle of three advents and a sectoid, also taking fall damage of course.

Almost.
You don't need the other things to actually complete the game, but you can stall and do side missions until you're ready for the ending.

Also FYI there is no Tier 3 grenade launcher, so don't worry about it.
My first legend Avenger Defence mission ended in two turns.
The spike was ludicrously close, and one of my grenadiers picked up squadsight from the AWC.
My stealth ranger ran out to get an eye on the spike, which meant that I could hit it with rupture and a sniper shot on the first turn.
Another sniper shot and grenadier shot in the next turn, and all I had to do was sprint my ranger back to the ramp.
End result; no kills, four shots, and only one person even moved off the ramp.

A plasma grenade launcher
APlasma level Psi Amp.
I just the mag versions. I just kind of assumed they existed because at the very least the Avatar asshole you kill has a fancy plasma Psi-Amp.
If they don't exist, that's fine, but my two most badass soldiers happen to be a PSI and a Grenadier, so I wanted to fully kit them out.
If they don't exist, that's fine.
I alao just realized I have NEVER killed a gatekeeper, only mind controlled them so THAT'S probably the problem.

Yeah the only thing you are missing is
A Gatekeeper autopsy to get the last PSI amp. There is no "plasma" equivalent for grenade launchers, but I suppose the Advanced Explosives proving ground project serves the smae purpose.

Do you have EXO- or WAR-suits? They would also be required for the plasma blaster (and all the other heavy weapons).

I like a few of them. A lot of it I'll probably never use, but I'm sure some people will like it.

I do like what he's been saying about certain enemy types.
I'm a strong proponent of removing the 'Unconscious' status from the game, btw. It's fucking bullshit.
edit: favorite story of this is when I hacked a turret, and a stunlancer rendered it unconscious
wait, scratch that, favorite story is when I enraged a berserker and watched it knock out a stunlancer
that was hilarious
or was it when I lit a sectoid on fire, and it burned to death next turn - falling face first in a puddle of water
