That's presumptuous, just because it's called that doesn't mean it steals and eats eyeballs.

I thought the guy was missing his eye, but you can see two whites in the blurry second panel.

Its parents are David The Eyeball Stealer and Margaret And Then Eater. Being progressive monsters, they took both of their last names when they married.

You know what? Nanowrimo's cancelled on account of the world is stupid.

Looks like Gears of War? I think I heard mention of another one announced at E3.

Dude, beat me to it. BÖC rules.

If you're curious about my icon; it's an update of the early Lego Castle theme's "Black Falcons" faction.

I just noticed: this comic and the last both have the question "Yeah?" answered with "Yeah."

The game doesn't matter (but I think it's either gears or evolution maybe?) for the joke. It's all about that, "if no one knows what they are then how do we know their names?" A lot of bad fantasy talks about "No one knows the blank or where the blank came from." I just wish the punch was stronger. I love how this thing only eats one eye, wonder if it's a lefty or a righty.

Oh well, not all of them can be amazing. Also, I've been digging how Mike has been playing with the blur technique a lot but I think he went too far on this one. Love the lighting though. Mike is killing that!

I do think this is referencing the Gears of War video they played at the Xbox press conference. It did feature a man and a woman going through the dark after something and talking. Their dialogue was a little...eh.

I'm gonna vote for the other team for this Strip Search competition. This one just doesn't have the punch that we expect here at PA.

BTW, when are they doing a "team strip search" show?

Sounds like a common name for a Unique monster in Diablo series.

The fucked up speech bubbles on this get me every time. I always think that maybe I just read it wrong, and it does actually make sense, but no - it does not.

Phenomenal art for this comic, guys. A brief return to a simpler time of emotional subtlety, where the last panel doesn't always have someone with demon-eye-glow filter.

I don't get what the problem is? The guy in the second panel is the person the guy in panels 1 & 3 is talking with (note the mask/no mask differentiation). The square red outlined bubbles are for radio transmissions, and the normal bubbles are the person in-panel. Panel 1: Mask talks and No Mask responds over radio. Panel 2: No Mask talks and Mask responds via radio. Panel 3: Mask talks and No Mask responds over radio.

It seemed pretty clear to me back in the day, and when @mare_imbrium posted it here.

Is there anywhere to discuss the Destiny comics recently linked in Jerry's newspost? Because the art is phenomenal... but how did no proofreader pick up on the difference between "Hear, hear" and "Here, here"? https://www.bungie.net/en/pub/TheTakenKing/Sunbreaker

Forget proofreaders, this is one I would really expect Jerry to know.
