You actually did a pretty good job on the form of the boots. The rest of the figure is a little weaker, but some of that will come as you move away from just studying cubes and blocks and start applying those principals to the organic forms of anatomy. Decent improvements though, glad you are taking on the studies with enthusiasm, it will really help you push forward faster.
