The Guiding Principles and New Rules document is now in effect.
This got posted a few weeks ago, and it was just a copypasta of last year's with a PAX 2015 logo... I think it was just a placeholder, it got pulled but idk why it's back up again incomplete.
Soon(tm).
Also, please ignore the construction dust. As noted what you see now may not be its final form. Actually heck, we tweak stuff all the way up to and during the show.
At this point it's better than nothing and from what I've seen via the iOS version, the schedule looks amazing. Looks like Square Enix will have a huge presence this year.
There's a lot of great panels this year! A bit disappointed that Undead Labs isn't an exhibitor though. I love those guys, plus I want to finish out the moonrise triple-pin thing they were doing!
Downloaded the Android version from the scan code on the back of the badge. I hope the times are still in flux, FFXIV and Dragon Age two of my favorites at the same time. BRB cloning myself really quick...
Is gearbox not doing a panel this year. Did I miss it or is it not listed in the schedule yet?
At South Gearbox had a room the entire weekend. They did a number of panels and ran multiplayer wiith people sawpping in and out the rest of the time. Maybe they are doing something similar.
There's a panel on Monday about the ingame history of EVE Online. I've never played one second of EVE but I am very excited to hear about all the bullshit that has come out of that game.
Yeah, it seems that the schedule is still somewhat patchy at this point- I'd think it'd be odd that the Omegathon is on the Sunday and not the Monday, personally as it's traditionally the closing ceremony/chance for G&T to say their goodbyes until the next PAX.
Looks like both Game Grumps and Markiplier will both be at PAX, the mobile app had a huge update so a lot of new panels and events were included along with some fixes to the schedule. For example, they included the Storytime with Kim Swift along with shifting the finals of the Omegathon to Monday.
Still some bugs, but it's getting there - I like how there are two Gabe & Tycho Q&As overlapping with each other and Kim Swift. They just tweeted to grab the Guidebook for an early look.
8:30 Friday Night DnD Live Acquisitions Inc, Darkmagic vs Do'Urden Yea! no panel after them I bet to goes beyond 11:30 PM. I'll be in line at 6 PM
O h, man. If that turns out to be true it'll solve a huge dilemma. I was worrying it'd be on Saturday again, in which case I'd have to miss it because I have tickets to the MBMBAM show.
So is that the full program schedule or will it be updating some more?
I would assume today's update is the complete version (aside from a couple bugs here and there). Schedule changes can always happen at any point, though.

In the letter that came with the badges, the first change tells us the queue room has been eliminated and that space has been evenly distributed throughout the halls so we will have more elbow room with the same amount of exhibitors.
Comparing the map to last year shows that is not really the case. There is clearly more exhibitors added and most of the layout of the booth numbers are very close to last year. There is some slight space added, but nowhere near the amount if the queue room space had been distributed evenly.
I know the maps are not to scale so I will reserve judgement until I actually experience the space, but on paper it doesn't look much roomier.

Like you actually believe it was going to make the hall and less crowded. I expected better from you
But yeah, I don't think they are making hings better with no que line, just making us have to stand outside in the morning and discourage the early line waiting. I can't wait to see how this whole que part of it goes...
Comcast had a booth one year. There are booths like that every year. They tend to be treated like pariahs, and the ultra-bored people staffing them will likely be really grateful to talk to anyone.

That's not Gearbox, that's Telltale games. I'm staying at the Westin so I will probably go to that one.

A few bugs in the schedule are still being worked out. Omegathon final is Monday, the last day, per usual.
