After a pretty big argument this morning, it's just starting to dawn on me that I'm an inherently selfish and emotionally neglectful person far too often.
Like, it must be a good thing that I'm actually realising just how much of an idiot I've been up to this point. But the fact that it took so long sucks so bloody hard.
Holy crap I feel like the worst of the worst right now and the fact that I'm moping in self-pity is making me even more annoyed at myself because it shouldn't be all about me and it's just stupid-ass snowballing all over the place.
eh, sounds familiar. it's not pleasant being at the receiving end of it. hope you do something about it and that it works out for you and person(s)involved.

I actually don't mind Twitter. I made an account explicitly for following people, so all I get are fun posts from people like Ryan North and Anthony Clark and the McElroy brothers. I don't even look at the rest of Twitter.
I use twitter as a kind of weird, steam release for all the dumb thoughts I think throughout the day that wouldn't necessarily make sense or be appropriate in normal conversation.
people hate on twitter a lot and maybe it's just because I've deliberately kept my following list low but I've found it pretty damn wonderful so far. By far the most positive social media thing I've ever done. Well, tumblr is a close second.

Normally I would have considered joking about it, but I just blocked him instead. The frequency of the messages before I could even respond freaked me out a little bit. It was really weird.
Yeah, that happened to me once. I saw someone from the gay men's chorus I was in had changed his profile pic to a really well done one and so I messaged and told him so. Suddenly I had ELEVEN pictures of his dick in my inbox followed instantly by Why haven't you replied? What's wrong with these pictures? Where are you? etc.
It was pretty harrowing and I insta-blocked him. Still nothing close to what women have to deal with tho.

In my news, apartment keys get! I'll be dropping by tonight (and I'll get a picture of the view this time,) but the property management is being colossally incompetent now.
They said we could transfer a lease over so it would be only 6 months, now we have to resign for a year (whatever)
They said I didn't need a pet application when I asked for one! Now they need one!
They removed my roomies underground parking stalls for NO REASON so they need to get those sorted. Augh!
But I don't really care because tomorrow I'll be free of my ex-fiance.
