The "Down Underdark"? I've heard they have some crazy animals with like TWO thumbs down there in the Down Underdark.

The Down Underdark must be a terrifyingly horrific place. It isn't listed in the documented echelons of place you don't want to go. At least it wasn't shadow shadow bo badow, though I suspect it may be a parallel tier.

Edit and harumph, in my enthusiasm I neglected to mention that I heartily look forward to the storyline to come. Art's as good as always but what I'm most intrigued by today is Jim's enviable magical ability to literally unsay things.

Haha, don't be silly. "Two thumbs" indeed. That's just an amusing tourist's myth. Our wildlife are quite cute and affectionate. Why, just look at this rascally character:

OMG. I love the Aquisitions Inc. strips. And Down Underdark? Omg omg. I am looking forward to this so much.

    Plus, I like the zoo...

I don't know where he got the scorpions, or how he got them into my mattress.

Best of luck with your vertigo, Mike. There are a lot of things that can cause that, and many of them are actually quite benign. I know from experience that it's scary as hell, though.

Especially if you've been experiencing ringing in the ears, hearing loss, or "fullness" in one or both ears, you might be dealing with Meniere's disease, a pretty common condition that it seems few people know about. Just in case your doctor hasn't mentioned it, you might want to ask about that. I'd also be happy to talk to you about my experience.

    Questing with a leveled party
From an undead tomb all full of zombies
Met a spider lady, she made me nervous
She webbed me in and made me breakfast

    And she said,
You've come to the Dark Down Under
Where mushrooms glow and elves plunder
Can you hear, can you hear the drums now?
You better run, you better take cover.

Ran in to a nasty Mind Flayer,
I crapped my pants, so did my Player.
I said, "Do you speak Common language?"
He just smiled and gave me a cerebrum sandwich.

    And he said,
I come from the Dark Down Under,
Where blood flows and dwarves lumber
Can you hear, can you hear the thunder?
You better run, you're going to suffer.

Dying in a beholder's death beam,
With no spells, and low on HP.
I said, "Are you trying to make me wearier?
    Because you think I'm inferior...

    And he said,
You've come to the Dark Down Under!
Where heroes die, are torn asunder.
Can you hear, can you hear the drums now?
You better run, you better take cover...
