PAX South: Good for artists hunting for work?

Howdy! I'm a freelance 3D/2D concept artist based in San Francisco, and as you may have guessed by the title of this thread, I'm curious whether PAX is a good place for drumming up new freelance or studio work?

I've worked for Hasbro on Star Wars, Nerf and G.I. Joe, and the upcoming Imangi Studios' Temple Run 2 expansion. I sure would love to add some new clients to my list.

Obviously I'll be flying out from San Francisco to attend, so if there are any other artists or folks who know PAX well enough from that side of things to guide my decision, I'd really appreciate any information that'll help me make the call.

Here's my portfolio site, which might help you answer my question.

Thanks for any help!

PAX is not really for that, no. That said, I'm sure some people use it to network.
