Bernie... transitioning from France to your usual stump is not a great look.

They were asked to do that.

I mean, it's pretty much just Clinton and Sanders replying to each other with the occasional comment from O'Malley.

I'd question more why 50% of the screen real estate is absolutely stupid. I don't want social media engagement in the least.

I really like O'Malley pointing out that as time goes on, more guerilla and terrorist tactics become... for lack of a better word, "the new normal." It's a lot more substantive than others.

It's fascinating watching Hillary tie herself to Obama at every opportunity.

Self-righteousness is incompatible with coalition building.

That is exactly why 50% of the screen is stupid twitter shit: the debate is sponsored by Twitter.

It's hard to find a question he doesn't transition to inequality. He got asked about the differences between his all white state and heavily black SC and he said they had identical problems and it was income inequality.

Still mixing opening statement and condolences is kinda tricky

Makes sense now! Stupid sense, but still explains it. I tune out during the breaks and sponsor ads.

Clinton knows this foreign policy stuff but she seems to lack passion or something. Maybe that's a good thing but I don't know if it will play good in an election.

    Hillary really dodging that question.

I feel like she could have done better by saying "unfortunately we took out substantive threats and ISIS filled in a power vacuum because we didn't want to imperialist-up everywhere" but I dunno if that would have actually played better.

Also she was his Sec of State. Despite the small number of Hillary diehard "Pumas" it wasn't a nasty primary in 08, just a surprising upset. Ideologically they werent really that divergent, Obama just was a better message and symbol for the time and he ran a better campaign

Hillary pivoted pretty well on Bernie's point, and Sanders responds pretty smartly. O'Malley also chimes in with solid reasoning. These people are fundamentally reasonable.
