Want to start learning some programming, where should I look?

Hey forum,

So I work in IT, horrary basic computer stuff! I want to start getting some certs and learning new things. I figured I'd start easy with Python, but I'm not sure where to look to start some kind of training besides just picking up a book or going to a website and reading what does what. I was hoping someone here could give me some advice on where to begin.

Any assistance, or testominolals on places would be appreciated.

Khan Academy also has some basic coding like JavaScript, HTML/CSS and basic SQL.

https://www.thenewboston.com/videos.php is pretty good for video tutorials, and there's also https://www.codeschool.com/but I don't think they have Python.

Google has its own Python course as well. I believe Lifehacker wrote an article about it last year (the article was about learning programming, not just Python).
