stardust crusaders was far and away my favorite for a long long time, but steel ball run is just. so good. the switch from weekly to monthly made araki's art level up so much it's insane. gyro for best jojo
V and 6 are sort of middling, 1 is by no means bad but i put 6 above it mainly because jolyne is my second favorite joestar behind jotaro and i kinda love its ending and what it does to the series going forward

I think one of the key things about nier, is that despite its utter bleakness, there is always a tinge of hopefulness
even in ending d, which is just absolutely devastating for multiple reasons, there is still some ounce of hopefulness that makes it tolerable
