Yeah, that's still super strong. I was thinking of a time based thing based on an Alestorm album, but not even that could defend against the pants shit.
You have tried this 10 times woolie and havent changed anything this isnt going to work
Pat and Liam shitting on Woolie during Nier was pretty great.
"Let me just get my bearings."

"Wait, let me get a better look at this area."

What I posted isn't a story spoiler, just some jokes from the episode.
And if you do not think you can power through 30 or so hours of okay gameplay for a great story, then just watch the LP. Then I'd say you should read The Dark Id's LP, where he goes way more in depth with all of the sidequests and backstory.
Much better than Cavia's previous outings with Drakengard 1 and 2.
oh I agree
I find nier's combat totally fine, but it isn't for everyone for sure, and an lp is the best way to get the essence of the game without having to do really bad sidequests for money to buy weapons for ending d
Finally finished Catherine for the first time. Got the
Vincent marries Katherine
Ending.
I'm debating whether to go through it again at least one more time for the
Catherine True Love
Ending. Do any of the cutscenes change as well, or is it just the final ending plus the dialogue during the Cupid bar sequences?
Since no one's answered this for you: No, there's not different cutscenes, but Vincent's internal monologue changes dramatically depending on where you are on the meter (Law, Neutral, Chaos) and some Cell Phone stuff/messages also depends on the meter.

I don't think watching an LP is a substitute for playing a game, and experiencing it in the moment, especially if it's stuff like the intersection of music and plot, moments of triumph and defeat, etc, especially if the LP has a layer of commentary and yucking it up, treasure the Zaibatsu, though I may.
Of course, some games are much better experienced primarily through LP, like I Have No Mouth and I Must Scream, due to really obtuse adventure game logic, or Ride to Hell, for being a barely cohesive garbage-collective.
Not even the zaibatsu could save Ride To Hell. I tapped out of that LP even before they blew up the electric fence or whatever. And I watched all of the prison Break LP.

the short jokes ain't for nothin'
Mat, Liam, Woolie, or Baby Rider?

Holy fuck I almost blacked out when the BABY RIDER started
I haven't laughed this hard in over a week, it never let up
Someone got to "Baby Rider" in the script and threw up their hands TWICE

Also, damn it, the Eyes of Heaven LP episode descriptions have me thinking of ideas for stands.
brown note is still clearly the most powerful
world of heaven would make pucci shit himself across multiple timelines
God damn it Pat.

Waiting for them to have one with Lucky Ted getting Hey Ya!.
it's fine
Nah, his stand is Oh Boy!
I really like some of the environmental interaction details in this game.

What is the Nier reference about? I haven't been watching Nier because I still hold out hope that one day I might play it
I haven't been watching
as somebody who thinks nier is one of the best games of last gen

It's not a poke at a specific incident, it's a poke at habits.
