UPDATE: We are all full now! Thank You, can't wait for the roast!
Hello all!
I'm very happy to announce that the Pre-PAX Pig Roast will be BACK again this year! So if you plan to be in Boston the evening of Wednesday, April 20th, or like me, will alter your trip for a great pig roast, read on!
Trinistand unfortunately will be travelling, but I have offered to take on this PAX community tradition in his place for PAX East 2016. We already have a reservation for 20.
This tradition began in 2012 and it's always a great time, the food is out of this world. Signups are on a first come, first served basis (in posting order). PAX forum members who sign up are allowed a single +1 as the venue has limited seating capacity for the roast, and the pig is only so large.
What : New England Style Pig Roast
When : Wednesday 04/20/2016 @ 7 PM ET
Where : Citizen Public House - Fenway area, 1310 Boylston St
Who : 20 fans of Sir Porkington
Why : Because...PIG ROASTS ROCK!
How To Pay: Paypal or check. PM me for details
Cost : $60 includes food, tax, and tip. Drinks and related tax/tip are separate. At this late time, I can take payment by Paypal.
Citizen's has an extensive whiskey list (over 200 varieties!) for those that are interested.
Please let me know if you have any dietary restrictions or allergies ahead of time so I can inform the restaurant. They always do their best to accommodate everyone but for those who are unfamiliar with a pig roast, the pig itself is stuffed and the stuffing may contain allergens.
For those interested in more details, they do bring out plates of various different parts of the pig as well, so you may try them.
• This event requires a minimum participation of 10, and a maximum of the first 20 of us who sign up and beyond that, I will implement a wait list. Citizen's is a smaller restaurant and the pig roast is seated on a set of long tables in a section of the restaurant. The maximum amount of folks they can seat at the table is 20.
• The $60 cost (I know it's expensive, but it's a whole suckling pig!) only covers what's listed on the website: Shellfish appetizers (their local oysters are the best), the pig and stuffing, and a few incredibly delicious sides. If you order anything else, including drinks or dessert, that's extra, but you are certainly welcome to do so even though nobody should be hungry after this meal. The best way to manage this is probably to open your own tab at the restaurant. But for those who don’t open their own tab, I can also collect cash from each of you who ordered drinks at the end of the meal.
• Vegetarian options are available - The restaurant will make sure (as part of the pig roast) that there are vegetarian appetizers, entrees, and sides. Please let me know in advance so I can tell the restaurant of ANY dietary needs such as food allergies.
• Payment is already due by April 4th, and is non-refundable after that time, BUT we can add folks (up to a limit of 20) as late as April 15th.
• PAX attendees of all ages are welcome.
• This is separate from the Pre-PAX dinner on Thursday. Come to both!
I will post up the list of who wishes to go, and who is fully paid up and confirmed below.

I do have an allergy to shellfish, but can skip the appetizers as needed.
Can't wait to see everyone---getting close:)
Initial work scheduling seemingly precluded me from attending East, but things are clicking into place and odds are highly likely of my attendance. I'd like to sign up but can easily give up my spot should guaranteed attendees need my single spot

Thank You!
I also have another person from my party I can fit in if you can't. As we still have 21 possible attendees we should have no problem meeting the minimum requirement of ten.
