For a work activities committee that I'm on I'm helping put together a monthly trivia game to do during lunch.
One of the other coworkers helping with this particular event mentioned that of course we had to have the category "Potent Potables".
Then it occurred to me, we should have category that is explicitly
not "Potent Potables" because everyone expects that.
Things that I've come up with so far:
Potent Portables: Probably something to do with cellular phones and their history etc.
Potent Potentates: Kings and Queens!
I had one for fictional beverages (butterbeer, PanGalactic Garbleblaster, I forgot the rest I came up with) but I also forgot what P-starting synonym for fictional I'd come up with.
So I need the help of a forum I know love's puns* and esoterica. Help me recover that last category, and maybe come up with some new ones.
I work in an IT department so there's quite a few nerds, though I'm among the youngest at thirty*cough*.
*Even if they won't admit it.

Could go with ambrosia, mythical drink(or sometimes food) of greek gods as well as the drink of choice on Battlestar Galactica.
Nuka Cola.
Probably not too many Fallout fans here. I mean, I'm pretty sure there's a few, but I'm trying to appeal broadly to an office of that skews a bit older.
When it's called "nectar" it's always drink, though. Ambrosia and amrita are perfect cognates, basically dialectal. "Soma"/"Haoma" are similar to "nectar", half magic god-drink, half real plant-squeezings.
The table version of this one might be a bit too esoteric, but it works as a general Poe category.
Bonus points for the pun.
