The adventures of a small blue planet, not unlike our own. A planet with two moons.

What’s all this now?

This is a regular game for 30+ people.

General rules of Phalla can be found here. New players are welcome as are old of course.

Specific rules can be found below:

Standard Phalla Rules/Mechanics:

You must vote each day. Vote in bold red for whomever you think is likely to be a threat to you. The winner of the vote will be eliminated every night. Tie votes will kill both people involved. Be careful.

In addition, everyone should make at least two posts each day. Failure to vote or contribute will lead to warning and replacement.

Do not directly quote anything from PMs with me, or take screenshots of them. It is okay to paraphrase host PMs however.

Do not add other players to PM conversations.

Do not anonymously contact anyone.

When you die you may make one ghost post which cannot contain any game information whatsoever. After that please do not discuss the game with anyone still alive.

Ask for clarifications in Bold DarkOrange. You can always PM me with clarification requests, or post them directly in the thread. If you have questions about your role you should probably use the PM method to avoid giving away info to the other players. They are *already* suspicious of you.

Make sure you invite me to any PMs or proboards you might form.

Order of actions: Vote > Roleblock > ??? > Status Effects > Guards > Kills

Nonsense, usually its some sort of random demon like thing never mentioned in the plot before. Kinda like when you kill Dracula you aren't expecting a random demon to pop in.

I couldn't remember a FF4 quote because this was the game I played on the SNES when I was learning how to read.

Some kids had Hooked on Phonics. I had FF4.

I played FF2 (sorry, 4) and Ultima 7 right around the same formative time in my life. I grew up watching Star Wars and all these powerful stories of Good vs. Evil, redemption, rejecting the darkness, etc. My heroes were Luke Skywalker, Cecil Harvey (...I know, right?), and the Avatar. (...also Godzilla.) My wife and I had Ultima's Stones played at our wedding. Such great music, even nearly 25 years later.

I love every track on the OST, but my favorite is probably split between Golbeza, Clad in the Dark and The Big Whale. These are the songs I hear when I think Triumph and Despair.

FFIV wasn't my first (that was FF1), but it was the game that pretty much made me a slave to the series. I rented 'FF2' for the SNES from a blockbuster(imagine that), and the rest is history.

Everything I know about final fantasy I learned from 8-Bit Theater. Oh, and that one cgi movie with the ghost things. So I figure I'm pretty much an expert by now.

This one snuck by me, probably because I didn't have an SNES. I gave it a shot with an emulator at one point but wasn't that impressed; I think I'd aged past it or been exposed to cooler stuff like Betrayal at Krondor by that time.
