I'm a little confused about the previous page of K6BD. What does she mean that her first condition is eternal life? Is she demanding that Allison gets eternal life?
Think she's asking Allison to accept eternal life, even after detailing the downsides of it with herself as an example. Then Allison was stupid and tried the food, which was poisoned, so she doesn't have a choice now?
I mean I think what's intended is like the first condition is you stepping away from being human. Either you get the key yanked out by someone who's not smart enough not to want that power, or you mold yourself into an equal, so you can protect it.

I think that is the immortality stuff
it looks like it makes you molt
She's literally shedding her mortal coil
I have a podcast now. It's about video games and anime!Find it here.
I like that Allison's convincing herself to be brave has finally landed her into some serious hot water. The K6BD world is full of crazy things and crazy danger, and nobody is safe from it, not even the divine.
On the topic of peaches that totally look like hearts when Mottom is eating them:
It's one thing that fruit has been used as a symbol of life in most any major religion or cultural mythology you can name, but peaches in particular are the fruit used in Eastern classics like Journey to the West (i.e. that story the monkey king Sun Wukong is a major character in) and Momotaro. K6BD has lots of influences from Western and far East religion/mythology, but the world overall feels much more Eastern, and in that sense, it makes a lot of sense that you'd see peaches (instead of, say, pomegranates or apples). Also the peaches get to be drawn like veiny hearts, which is awesome/horrifying.
On the topic of Sun Wukong:
Just skimming over Sun Wukong's wikipedia entry, you'd see it is at once something that seems like fanfiction:
"Sun Wukong later single-handedly defeats the Army of Heaven's 100,000 celestial warriors Sun Wukong, all 28 constellations, four heavenly kings, and Nezha, and proves himself equal to the best of Heaven's generals, Erlang Shen. Eventually, through the teamwork of Taoist and Buddhist forces, including the efforts from some of the greatest deities, and then finally by the Bodhisattva of mercy, Guanyin, Sun Wukong is captured"
As well as over the top metal:
"Sun Wukong then defies Hell's attempt to collect his soul. Instead of reincarnating, he wipes his name out of the Book of Life and Death along with the names of all monkeys known to him."
it kind of bums me out that someone took the time to make the samus reaction image with the credit and link to awkward zombie intact, and then on that very page to spite them someone just posted the version without it, and that version is now the most posted one

But is there really anyone reading this thread who doesn't immediately recognized awkward zombie? If so, they need to turn in their webcomics badge.
Their Story / Tamen de Gushi is a Chinese webcomic by Tan Jiu It is translated here which hasn't had NSFW content in a long time now but you never know.
Sun Jing is way more of a playboy in her head than in practice. And Qiu Tong is increasingly bad at pretending like she's not interested.
A trap is for fish: when you've got the fish, you can forget the trap. A snare is for rabbits: when you've got the rabbit, you can forget the snare. Words are for meaning: when you've got the meaning, you can forget the words.

I did that! And I didn't do it to spite anybody, it was just a joke

Yeah, what's up with those space elves these days?
Update soon, hopefully - from the looks of it it seems like it's settled into a roughly monthly schedule, which honestly isn't a sentence I ever expected to write about Outsider.
The last few updates were on the 4th, 2nd, 31st and 1st, for reference.

I don't bookmark webcomic reaction panels. When I want the panel I literally google it, in this case "it's funny to me that you think that" and I take the first decent result I get.
It's not like I'm not using the one without proper attribution in order to purposefully spite somebody here.

Still looking forward to seeing her grow into the role that's been pushed onto her though.

Wasn't gonna be that easy, Hannu, in A Redtail's Dream.
This may prove useful in the future
