Hmmm trying to calibrate this tv. The setting that looks best to me is the super bright 100% backlight 'vividly' thing. I am now trying the settings from a major website that are agreed to be really good? It seems kind of dull to me but I'll give it a try before going with the bright and probably bad setting I prefer

so i changed my netflix plan and watched a minute or two of a jessica jones episode (a series i've watched before) in 4k
pulled up my chair to like 3ft from tv, still totally smooth and indiscernible pixels
it's p useless from 9 ft away but watching by myself in a dark room up close, it's crazy
with a 60" tv, couple feet away, 4k- it's a movie theater experience for sure
And to be completely honest, Netflix 4K is kind of shit due to bandwidth constraints and compression.
Wait till you sit 3' from your TV with a 4K Blu Ray.
that'll probably never happen or at least not for a super long time. dedicated media players, physical media, purchased instead of streamed etc. i don't have nearly that much money to aim at my entertainment budget.
