Oh man, I love Facts. And this episode was even better than I anticipated! I particularly love how the guy in the Adventure Time t-shirt was basically freaking out about how good the show is.

Howdy friends, it looks like it's PSA o-clock:
It's everybody's (un)favorite time, leak time. Specifically, some select scenes from the upcoming bomb have surfaced on the internet, and while some of the episodes are innocuous slice of life fun, some are not and unfortunately there are massive spoilers floating around out there. So take this as your friendly three week warning that if you browse 4chan, Reddit, Tumblr, or even have SU videos in your recommended slot on your YouTube account, now's the time to go into blackout mode.

Yeah - I actually like Teen Titans Go a lot but the new Ben 10 is just not great. I'm not a fan of the animation but more important the writing is just off somehow. It feels a lot like another show my kid used to watch that I didn't like...I don't remember the name but there were two sisters and they did experiments on their brother who was the star of the show and there was a talking dog.

Johnny Test, it was very mediocre
That's it! That's what the new Ben 10 feels like in terms of writing (and maybe animation too).

Johnny Test is/was garbage.
Humor can be dissected as a frog can, but dies in the process.
Like far be it for me, a 30 year old, to pass too harsh a judgement on a kids TV show, but I have friends who have kids and they even thought that show was garbage.
My one friends kids really like Loud House though and I'm glad because while its definately more aimed at kids, I really enjoy the animation style

I am kinda fed up with the younger haters who get all heated about TTG, as if it's an insult to the original or whatever.
Reality is, Teen Titans got good in the later couple seasons, but most of the show was brought down by the creators waffling between presenting the show as a cool action drama and random anime comedy to the point of being mediocre at doing either and being atonal as Hell.
It also suffered problems of inconsistency with what both the heroes and villains are capable of. We had an episode where Mad Mod steal's Robin's Youth and brainwashes the city and controls everything using nigh-indestructible robots. Then at the end when they turn Robin back to normal they just blow up the entire army like cardboard without any explanation.
Then there was Cinder Block who changed size drastically between appearances, and would randomly be staggered by, like, Robin's stick when everyone else's shit had no effect on him for some reason. He even does a hurricanrana on the dude despite it being made of rock and twice his size. I'm like dude COME ON.
Or the multiple occasions where one of the heroes literally beats the bad guy magically with zero explanation - (Raven beating Mumbo, Cyborg beating Brother Blood after getting dismembered by the guy), because the writers would just resort to bullshit when they wrote themselves into a corner.
In the show's last couple seasons it started to actually get really good. Because they gave up on being about comedy and focused on actually being an action show and it turned out the creative team can put out a very solid script when they're focused and not writing what was basically two different shows at the same time.
TTG is dumb and vapid, but it knows that it is these things and embraces that which is how it should be. That self awareness in the writing is part of why Brave and the Bold was as good as it was, too.

No I think as an adult its important guard children from bad tv.
Johnny Test is actively harmful. Their household is Matriarchal but the father is presented as effeminate for liking to cook and clean. Hes also presented as ineffectual authority figure due to those qualities. All the women in the show are portrayed as menacing harpies and Johnny is constantly rewarded for his out right destructive and disobedient behavior .

CN wants all of their shows to 15 minutes and be standalone now so they can toss everything into a big blender, pour it all over the schedule, and end up with something someone can watch for hours without needing to know any context for each episode. Gumball, TTG, Justice League Action, and the Ben 10 Reboot all fall into that category and while I haven't watched them, I bet Magiswords, We Bare Bears, the New Powerpuff Girls, and Uncle Grandpa all follow the same formula to some extent. Even series like SU and Adventure Time that have more overarching storylines have the occasional episode that fits in that mold and can be used to fill gaps.

A good portion of TTG is subversively clever, too. There's lots of really simple gags and fart jokes and such, but they also spent a whole episode basically ripping on the gold standard.
