Everyone's favorite voice, Adam Jensen, has returned in two ways this month
Deus Ex: Mankind Divided is the new full title in the series, a direct sequel to 2011's Human Revolution, releasing on PC, Xbox One, and PS4 next week
Deus Ex GO is the new entry in the surprisingly-good series of Square Enix mobile adaptations that have touched the Hitman, Tomb Raider, and now Deus Ex series, available now for $5 on iOS and Android
They made another sequel to Deus Ex and most people liked it and it was a miracle, they can probably pull it off again with this game
But no Deus Ex thread is complete without paying tribute to Ion Austin's 2000 original game, a landmark in the entire medium of games, a towering achievement that should be spoken about in hushed tones, with all the reverence it deserves

Satans..... hints.....
I shall add this to the list of games to get once I upgrade my PC
A lot of the marketing for this game has been embarrassing, but Human Revolution is in my all-time top 10. Gameplay-wise, it looks like a lot more of that, so I'm in
Basically I need to force myself to play this game loud but it looks like they made the stealth stuff even cooler than last time.
Steam
Really looking forward to this though.
I cannot relate to this at all. Human Revolution was one of my favorite games of last gen.
But their marketing and how they're pushing their story for this sequel has kind of put me off
So I'll wait and see if it's any good first
There IS some question about that, after that Thief reboot

Whoa okay there is noooooo reason for me to buy on Steam then
Even if I can't preload or play on Monday night, that is pretty worth saving 25 bucks
It's pushing me to buy it too, since it will be a while before it's 40% off again.
The review embargo is up tomorrow
No, within six months.
Who will have the first review? Unatco?
I don't buy many games "new" anymore, but this is one that I can't wait for. Also sort of really hoping that DXGO gets ported onto windows like the previous GOs because it looks pretty nice and has some sort of extra Praxis points unlocks according to the end of the DXMD launch trailer.
"yeah, RIP" is mostly on him
Also I hope whatever guy plays Sarif leans way into that stranger surfer vibe
And I helped!
WHAT NO MY FAVORITE BOY WHY
...I can live with that
-Your power meter recharges and is not tied to a limited number of consumables
-Boss battles don't suck and can actually be approached differently
- Being agressive in combat is possible(ie you can be hit more than twice)
They already fixed this in Human Revolution with the Director's Cut
and the Titan Shield seems like it will fix #3, you can basically put on a giant rock full-body exosuit for combat
Just stealth murdering people or in a pinch ambushing groups and murdering them at close range.
I don't think I ever survived a straight gun fight.
If I was getting bogged down, trading fire with mercs/gang members, I'd just fall back and either lure them into a kill box (like a door entrance) or loop round and hit them on the flank/rear.
Hack the turret control and take 5.
Let them do the work
But the I love it so
When I see previews of the game, I'm all like, "Yes, yes I want this." But then they pull some shit like "Augs Lives Matter" and I'm like what the fuck are you people doooooooooooooing.
I'm also skeptical about a team of game writers being able to tackle "issues" in a tactful manner.
But boy do I love some cyberpunk.
If I like a game's gameplay I have a tendency to ignore story content, so I only actually remember bits and pieces of the DX:HR story. Which is, I think, the best way to experience that story.
