I just uze the alarm on my iphone
    like a normal human being

    yes
unfortunately if you turn the ringer volume down doing something else and forget to turn it back up then....

alarm always plays at full volume even if phone is silent or ringer is turned down
    learn to iphone nublet

that's not true sir, thus it is you who is the nublet

if you have your phone on vibrate it'll still play yes

but if you turn the ringer down the alarm volume will go down

    i just tested this now
i always keep my phone on silent
    because im civilized
thus ringer volume is not part of the equation.

    same

but sometimes you accidentally turn ringer volume down

    and then you wouldn't notice

because you don't use your ringer

well with my battle against technology over and the assignment turned in, three minutes before deadline, it is time to drink bourbon and eat some cookies

Do you not find that the sweetness of cookies dulls the sweetness of bourbon? I can't eat sugary sweets with a nice American whisky, personally. Has to be something mild or different, like Graham crackers or BBQ meat.

this is not that kind of occasion. I opened one cupboard, first thing I saw was some oreos, said "you'll do", opened another cupboard, saw some bourbon and said "you'll do"

Legion impressions: I like it, I've gotten my artifact weapon on 5 characters and enjoyed all of them so far (the quests to get them)

Demo warlock artifact is a floating skull, it has voice acting, sometimes it quips or acts as your hype man

Assassination rogues are broken beyond reason, went into PVP with my artifact daggers, literally my first time ever playing assassination in PVP, got #1 killing blows, HKs, and damage done

You probably go to bed before midnight though. That's 3-4 of the best hours, gone.

    Those hours are useless

My superior brain is just hitting its stride! With no distractions and a soft end where I can steal time from sleep, there's nothing I cannot accomplish.

Generally, staying up past your sixteenth awake hour on a regular basis is a form of sleep refusal that has the same consequences as insomnia

This is definitely not remotely true for me. I still need to spend a third of my time sleeping, but whatever reservoir gets filled or drained by sleeping, mine is for sure larger. I have an extremely weak circadian rhythm (flipping schedule 12 hours is easy, I do it a lot) and if I need to stay awake 20 hours and keep my schedule, I have a few days to pay back that sleep without effect.

If left to my own devices I'd probably fall into a 20/10 or longer schedule, rotating around the clock. That's how things went in college.

Ret Paladin artifact weapon has a chance to instantly turn demons and undead to ashes when you hit them with its call of ashes ability (regardless of their health)

This expansion is rather demon focused so it's kind of a little bit OP and fun as it should be

WOW's been really terrified of things being broken because of PVP concerns, but everything's balanced seperately in PVP and PVE now so they can just go nuts and it's great

I've never honestly believed the whole "you can't make up a sleep deficit from previous days" nonsense. I've had days where I will barely get any sleep at night and can easily make it up by going to bed earlier or taking a nap, or sleeping in on the weekend.

Maybe for some people they can only ever sleep 8 hours max, but I have no problem with an elastic sleep schedule and naps.

I also fall asleep within 3-5 minutes of putting my head on the pillow. Which I guess a lot of people struggle with.

Shaz I highly recommend a sun lamp I don't even use an alarm on my phone anymore the sun simply rises 2 feet from my face and beeps at 6 am

yeah I used to have one of these (the only decent thing I ever bought at sharper image) in college and it was WONDERFUL.

now I just use the vibrating alarm on my wrist fitness thingy.

    hmm

    like, $100 wonderful?

I think i got it on sale last year for a lot less tho

Looks like there's a $10 off 'coupon' you can click? Which seems silly, but whatevs.

I wonder if there's a similar product that I can sync with my phone or something. Having a standalone alarm clock seems so anachronistic. How will it know when it's Saturday and I am not to be disturbed?

you hit the alarm button on Friday to turn it off so it won't ring on Saturday

but you should be up early on Saturday for your long run anyway

Because it was a wish awaken the donkey's class is now Warlock. We were hoping for cleric but it was a random roll.
