Gwyn isn't pure evil either though, prolonging the age of fire keeps humans from becoming spooky, scary, skeletons and lets people, you know, die and stuff which is actually really important. Assuming you are one of the 99.99% of the populace that is unable to resist the hollowing process. Dark Wraiths in general tell the truth, but for extremely proud and cruel reasons.

In general, the excesses of dark, the Abyss, are far more devastating, despite human's affinity and power coming from it. Which is thematically fitting. I feel it's a large part of why fire, and prolonging, restarting, or subverting fire, is the main theme in Dark Souls 3. There's finally someone who can finally answer the problem to what the Chosen Undead and Bearer of the Curse only delayed. Whether that's starting over, or continuing on in a new age, is up to the player.

The catch is that we don't have any evidence that humans hollowing isn't in part because of the unnatural extension of the age of fire. The progression of the world might have been more natural and healthy if that act hadn't happened. The story of the history of Dark Souls is people doing what they think will benefit them based on the information they have at hand in the present, since they don't have the capacity to see ahead. Gwyn links the fire because the age of Fire has been the golden age of the gods, and he assumes that golden age can last forever. Man links the fire because they fear the alternative.

Let any cell live long enough and tumours arise.

Both fire and dark in excess are bad in the setting. I just think that the tone of 3 is that fire is hope of renewal, even if it was twisted along the way. After all, you've always, always had your most peaceful moments where? Yep, bonfire.

Woolie's first suggested build would include carrying over his jocularity, and he also decided that, despite the difficulty level, he'd choose to still be black. Austin pondered whether you could just carry over a gun. Like, have that with you as a baby. It was then suggested between them that Woolie's build would perhaps have an insurmountable difficulty level if he added "has a gun from birth" to it.

    "Aww, it's a boy-HE'S GOT A GUN!"

i don't think creating a new animation rig is easy and simple

It's actually super easy, and the horizon devs are bad and gross for not fixing this gross baby head.

Source: I'm your uncle, who works for Nintendo. Did you get a chance to play the copy of Clay Fighter 63 and 1/3 that I sent you, Bimmy?

They could have started from one of the other, somewhat less awful childfaces they had, instead of one of the adultfaces they had.

Am I misreading because of my (very strong) fanboy leanings or was Woolie kind of fishing for negativity with regards to Breath of the Wild when Matt was talking about it?

It made the reveal that Matt was giving him a copy much funnier

I think he was more trying to get a feel for it, and maybe disappointed he still hasn't played it yet himself (I think Pat was only able to get 3 of 4 switches initially and they were still waiting on Woolie's)

Man, what are they on about?

As a kid I went nuts over the NA boxart for the original Zelda.

The cool shield and fancy font was enough to pique my child curiosity...back when I judged games solely by their box art (a more innocent time, granted).

Every episode of THUG makes me more and more disbelieving of the fact that I played it at like age 12, and nobody in my family, me included, batted an eye at the content at the time.

Liam still owns the hottest burn on the channel where he segues how to pronounce Chao into blowing Woolie up on Gascoigne.

That's up there but half of what makes the Sonic Adventure one is the aftermath, where Woolie seethes and Matt is trying and failing to hold his shit together until Liam says "It's okay to laugh!"
