Also I know he's a lawyer, but he's been out of practice for a while. Is he suitably expert for the role?

It's cool, we already know he's a douche after his hostile workplace scandal a few years back. He won a historically democratic district on the margins, and after that they shifted his district from mostly Latino to mostly white republican. Since then he's been winning by much larger amounts.

    everyone, everywhere. Sad!
Since 2013, the CoE has been forced to pump billions of gallons of water out of the lake to avoid jeopardizing the integrity of the Hoover dike holding back the water from inundating the surrounding populated area. Some claim that sugar plantations have been pumping polluted water from their flooded fields into the lake, but U. S Sugar claims back pumping is only to avoid flooding of communities, never to protect farm land. In March 2015, the rate was 2 billion gallons daily. This results in pollution problems for the Treasure Coast, St. Lucie estuary, and the Indian River Lagoon.[19][20]

If there's a party split, what are the going odds that the new party call themselves The Deplorables?

That's a cute thing, but it will probably be called something ridiculous. Try to think of the most ridiculous jingoistic thing you can, maybe from Fallouts Enclave.

I don't see what Trump could have said on that Stern episode that was worse than his other appearances.

Apparently Trump made an appearance on that show. As recapped from a, uh, vintage Howard Stern fansite:
Donald Trump Calls In. 5/7/98. 7:30am
Millionaire real estate mogul Donald Trump called in to promote his Miss Universe pageant. The pageant will be on CBS next Tuesday, May 12. Trump owns the pageant so who better to promote it than the man himself. Howard and Trump talked about how the women on the Miss Universe pageant are better looking than the women on the Miss America pageant. With the Miss America pageant they find women who are smart and fairly good looking. On the Miss Universe pageant they don't look for rocket scientists, only great looking women. Trump calls the Miss Universe pageant ''totally politically incorrect..'' ant that's the way it should be. Howard pointed out the fact that Donald owns a hell of a lot of apartment buildings in New York City. Howard has been looking for an apartment for himself so he can crash there once in a while. He said almost every one he looked at was owned by Trump. Trump told Howard that they'd love to have him in their building and he'd make sure he would get in. What a guy. Howard also brought up Donald's ex-wife Marla Maples and her horrible acting on The Nanny TV show. Howard figured that he could bring that up now that the two of them have divorced. Donald didn't seem to mind it. He didn't bad mouth her too bad.

Most of the party names I thought of from a possible split from the Republicans were well rather fascist
So it's not much of a stretch

I suspect any formal attempt at a GOP split, if deplorably led, will have the word "National" in their full title.

How can you all miss the obvious answer?

They're going to call it the Trump Party.

(Odds that the GOP becomes the Reform Party?)

Oh man, this is too rich. The front page of /r/the_donald is constantly filled with tweets from Trump about how he won all the post-debate polls(the online ones of course).

This morning, there's a post on the front page that says something to the effect of "To quote a wise thing Rush Limbaugh once said, polls aren't there to inform, they're to influence" and talking about how the only reason Hillary is ahead in polls now is that the dems are somehow cheating the polls to discourage people from going out to vote for Trump. They sincerely believe that secretly Trump is way up in the polls and on election day the jig will be up and he'll win in a landslide.

I love this too much. I'm going to wait until the election is called before I make a post on their subreddit and get banned from it though.

I have a 'friend' who in all sincerity is pushing a narrative of "they count a vote for Hillary twice in the polls, that's the only reason she's ahead".

That map's real weird, I've lived near Raleigh for half a year and haven't seen a single Trump lawn sign nor car sticker yet it's in favor of him. Everyone I've talked to has also shown their absolute hatred of that racist turd, too.

Edit: Derp, blue is Clinton. I'm a dunce, carry on!

This is really, truly good. I am glad this person's seen the light, if you will.

I am a bit frustrated however, that these folks only start fleeing the ship after Trump uses impolite language to brag about being able to sexually assault people because he's famous. Like, the racism, sexism, and hate were already there. They were not difficult to see, or hidden. It all feels like saving face now. I'd be happy to be proven wrong; I'd be happy to see these people dump the Republican party overall, but I don't see that happening. The GOP is the one who's enabled Trump, he didn't come to be their nominee in a vacuum, he came to be the nominee because that's the result of the shit they've been slinging to their base since around Nixon.

The thing I mostly hear isn't claims of our and our fraud but that they're willfully refusing to enforce immigration laws and push for accepting immigrants and refugees so hard because it will create a massive voting bloc that will vote D for the next several decades

Yup. And they'll be back for the next Republican nominee (as long as there is still a Republican party, anyway)

Oh no, Trump himself and his ardent supporters definitely believe that the democrats are using voter fraud to try to steal the election. That lady who told Pence she was ready for a revolution said those exact words. Hurr durr we all know the democrat party is doing all sorts of the voter fraud.

They think the democrats are using dead people's identities to cast votes, etc. They're idiots, but they believe it.
