Huh, so according to the newspost, Mike & Jerry launched PA on my birthday (best birthday gift ever?). Don't know how I missed that all these years I've been reading the comic.
Another similar comic was about some kind of a game where a chain link fence stopped the character who otherwise "has the city as his plaything". I wonder if Tycho suffers when this kind of reuse is detected postfactum.

Lots of game mechanics are ridiculous if presented even semi-realistically. The core joke might be the same; it's the variations in presentation that keep it fresh.
Is it the jokes that are kinda repetitive or is it that games keep using the same ridiculous mechanics? It's like a snake eating its own tail only the tail eating is a quicktime event and in order to know the snake's entire story you need to purchase DLC sold in a confusing pre/post-pre-order package scheme.
