Pretty sure that honor goes to meth...I just don't get that drug.

meth heads probably talk less about tipping and circumcision at very least

Motor mouth is a thing for simulants

I took adderall for the first time in forever the other day and couldn't shut up.

I had to quit adderrall after college.

Staying up for 80 hours straight is bad for you.

On the plus side I can drink a double shot of espresso and go straight to sleep because that shit is weak.

I mean I also got a lot of shit done. And do not have problems with abuse or weird affects. I just also talked a lot.

Yeah it was rough having to give up getting shit done.

It's a pretty big turn off for most employers eventually.

I can see why vegans avoid honey, even if I didn't as a vegan

yeah from a vegan standpoint it makes total sense.

the only vegan thing I never really got was their stance against wool, though I suppose it is still keeping animals for their products.

I don't think "vegan stance" is really a thing, though obviously you can find areas of mass agreement. I think there are clusters of behaviors.

I have not had good interactions with vegans, especially in my time in Tempe.

I know it's a prejudiced viewpoint (especially since I've met and am friends with a lot of vegans now), but damn man getting a hamburger smacked out of your hand in a public place really kinda makes you dickish towards the entire idea in general.

I've never had something like this happen to me or anyone I know but I can say with a straight and honest face that if someone ever knocked a burger out of my hand I'd give them the option of paying for it or I'd punch them in the face. Their choice.

It's never happened again and was one of the most shocking social moments of my life.

Right outside the Fatburger on Mill Ave.

I used to have a real hate boner for vegans, but it's subsided as I've aged and realized (at least somewhat) that I shouldn't let that interaction with 1 asshole ruin a good source of healthy food ideas and sour potential relationships with good people.

But man... I still get pissed thinking about it.

    Greetings fellow motorists

tell us about your new wheels

    I am happy with it!

It is certainly bigger than my old GTI

    Pros:
Even with performance pack suspension stuff it feels smooth and planted on the freeway

It's a turbo'd 4 so rolling along in stop and go so cal traffic is e-z

Paddle shift system not quite as good as the VW DSG system but still good

I am basically babying it the first few hundred miles but just gently pushing the gas to pass a truck got me to 100 very briskly

The turbo coming into play is more perceptible than the smoothness of the GTI turbo -- you feel the turbo grabbing you more hp and torque

I really do like the way it looks in metallic gray with the black wheels and stuff

I like the remote start very much!

It is nice to join the 21st century and put mp3s on a thumb drive and plug that into my radio

    Cons:
The speakers are kind of butt. No bass.

Aesthetically it is very very American! The creases in the hood are a little much and I know I am grouchy and old but the radio setup looks like a giant cheap plastic remote control from a cable TV box -- clusters of a million buttons. Radio isn't touch screen so there's all these backlit buttons to navigate everything and I am not in love with cars having a trillion buttons for Audio and a/c and so on. The less junk on the center console the better.

The gauges are backlit white with red accents but the window buttons, steering wheel buttons, and center console buttons are all backlit blue. Why??? I will look up if I can turn off or dim those lights.

Anyway it seems fun to drive and I hope it is reliable. If my biggest complaints are that it needs a more euro interior design sensibility I will live.

Is Jeff always short for Jefferson?

I thought Jeff was a stand-alone name... Are there really a bunch of Jeffersons out there instead? Also isn't that more of a last name.

    Geofferson Keighley?

    Jeffrey or Jeffington.

After this weekend my girlfriend will have a WiiU! Zelda will be neat.

I was a bit excited about getting old WiiU games at first then I remembered it's nintendo so they're all still $55. Still I never played the newest 3D Mario games and they seem cool.

Take a moment to donate what you can to the International Rescue Committee, the National Immigration Law Center, the Southern Poverty Law Center, and the American Civil Liberties Union. There has never been a more urgent moment to do so.

No bass.
