Ok we have wage gaps, in the next 4 years in the US they will grow. Part of the wage gap is sexism from men and from women. I.E. Fear that other women will view her negatively for aggressively asking for a raise.

On Thursday, a friend of mine expects to win full custody of his daughter. He's already been cleared to discontinue child support, and it's likely that his ex will be restricted from seeing the kid at all without supervision, pending the completion of addiction and mental health treatment.
He's still convinced that the system is rigged against fathers.
well... it's honestly not weird to think that even because you as a father manage to win custody eventually?
It would be weird to think that even if he lost, because it's not supported by the data.

-where biases exist in the courts, feminism addresses them (toxic masculinity, women being viewed as caregivers, etc)
the second argument is extremely reminiscent of arguments about why women don't get ahead in the workplace - because they don't try as much. It doesn't sound good.
The last part seems... kind of weird. I mean, to put it bluntly, who gives a shit if feminism addresses the biases? (that... don't exist? or exist?) I mean you said he thinks the system is rigged against fathers, which really has nothing to do with what feminist positions on the subject are

I'm kind of pissed that FF7 Remake isn't turn based.
I think they might have went in the wrong direction. They could have literally just updated the gfx and music added some voice acting and bonus content and shipped it. It would have sold 10 million copies
Is there solid data about not pursuing their rights totally 'filling the gap', as it were? Because yeah that smacks very much of women only getting paid less because of the roles they choose, their parenthood decisions etc
