I hope Logan's success inspires more superhero films of different scales and story genres other than save-the-world event tentpoles
I have no problem with that format it's really just that there's so much of it and some characters are way less suited for it than others
the original 1964 Dr. Strange story was a tight, claustrophobic, Twilight Zone-y little piece about a man going to Dr. Strange to be treated for his persistent nightmares and Dr. Strange goes into his astral self and discovers that the guy's nightmares are from guilt over his murder of his business partner and the guy's unconscious mind fights back and tries to trap Dr. Strange in the dream realm
something intimate like that, maybe with a couple additional twists, would have been PERFECTLY FINE as a Dr. Strange movie. you didn't need yet another exploding city
I would love a spider man high school teen drama or captain america road tripping across america on a motorcycle or a black widow paranoid conspiracy thriller
Maybe that's part of why I enjoyed Civil War so much. No world-ending plotline or whatnot, just dealing with the aftermath of one of them.
All comic books movies should be Dredd in scope; no origin stories, nothing bigger than a building is in danger.
Dredd was so f'n good I finally saw it a few nights ago.
My two weeks of having zero roommates is at an end. It was so nice when it was just me and the cats. Now I have to deal with wearing pants and moving around people in narrow hallways again. This is not a life.

I'd like a Sandman movie or tv show centered on The Corinthian.
They could do lots of cool stuff. And he's not world endingly bad, just a bad dude.

The best part is
they imply it's a potentially world threatening plot, but reveal it to be much more personal and mundane.
Yeah, when they roll up into
The arctic compound (Siberia?) and they see the bullet holes in the glass of the supersoldiers, and they're all dead. I was not expecting that. Never in a million years.[/spoilers]
that channel inspired me to try and make cooking videos but that guy's like a professional videographer and i immediately deflated because it seemed ridiculous to try lel

If I'm honest the Nihilist Arby's account and all the meme-like Arby's references just make me want to actually try Arby's some time.
Arby's is better than burger king or mcdonalds but not as good as five guys or culvers
I had Arby's only once - on a road trip from Staten Island to Florida (which only took 11.5 hours) - and I thought it was one of the most disgusting things I've ever had. I will never ever repeat that experience.
Small stakes are the secret to comic book movie success.
Dark Knight = good movie. Some ferries were in danger of exploding in the end.
Dark Knight Returns = bad movie riding DK's coattails. Gotham City in danger of exploding.

It's not like an Event Film (Avengers) can't pull out the Save The World plot, but I think it might be more effective if they were the only ones who did it.

it's absolutely why I enjoyed it; the story was the characters and the things that had happened to them over the last 10 movies coming to a boil

Guys, I beat Mass Effect 3. What am I supposed to do now?! Anything I start can't require any attention from me after Monday.
How was the dlc?
Fucking great! I'm not even sad that I missed out on them ththe first time around because I got to do a bunch of Mass Effect stuff that I never touched before.
Also, I finally got my hijacker achievement on the very last Atlas encounter that you get in the game. I'm glad I had my Black Widow on for it.

How did you decide to end your story in it?
I forgot that which way your character goes decided it and that you have the option to go right and left, and I just ran straight down the middle, thinking it was a Deus Ex press the right button thing. It was pretty funny.

That's how I got the slightly secret ending in Dark Souls. I didn't realise it wanted me to go forwards so ran backwards and some even more confusing nonsense happened

Every single person I've ever loved will go to my funeral?
That's not verily nihilist, Arby's. That's surprisingly optimistic.
Need that unattended Gatsby funeral

@Elki play something rad and boutique-sized like the original Shadowrun Returns or storyless and fun like Twilight Struggle
I'm the minority voice here but i found it incredibly tedious.

I should say, on the whole, I like the Marvel universe way more than DC. I like TDK, and BB. Can't decide which I like more between the two.
I liked fucking Thor 1 better than The Dark Knight
Leviathan was really well done. I can't remember what happened but i remember it was the highlight of the game

That was really good, and Citadel was also full of highlights.
