    some guy on facebook called me a gay slur and a pussy because i told a lady who he was strongly recommending carry a gun that she'd be much better off taking some classes and focusing on other sorts of personal safety ideas, first

    @Podly from the perspective of someone not trying to record music (or if they do record, it would be captured through a mic- not directly for beep boop or whatever), is it a big failure for a keyboard not to have midi/usb out? what other things would a generic guy-playing-an-instrument be losing by not having that?

    Oh wow less then a minute into Lucha Underground and they're already talking about aztecs and ancestral tribes. I knew it was crazy but for some reason I just assumed it wouldn't just be full speed right out of the gate on that stuff.

    or do you mean like a discounted version with all the dlc as opposed to whatever it is now

    MIDI is just a set of values from 0-128. If it's just a generic piano emulation keyboard and you're going to be playing it in the first place then you don't need MIDI

    MIDI out specifically is used mostly for recording MIDI patterns/arrangement and dumping program information via sysex

    Tl;dr -- I wouldn't worry about it
