Ah, always nice to know that if you're in need of someone who can go from "wary" to "angry" to "being a total ass" to "actually being even more angry that not everyone else feels as ass-y as himself" in just 15 minutes, Mike will have you covered.
Don't get me wrong, it's kind of funny, but seriously, we get that YOU didn't like it in about the first minute, dude, calm down.
The game seems interesting in a "walk by, see someone else playing it, stop a second, think 'that's interesting!' then walk away and never think about it again" way
mike doesn't seem to be into cerebral, meditative games
Much respect for Jerry's patience, and the subtle transition to speaking to Josh instead of Mike about it is really good confrontation management in my opinion.. Although you do have to wonder what game is going to be his "Shut the fuck up, Mike" moment.
You know, I'd be harsher to Mike if not for the realization that this is probably how agitated I'd get if forced to listen to 15 minutes of China Mieville.
This was hilarious. Mike annoys me sometimes, but not when he's being honest about how he feels (more so when he ignores what the game is telling him, then complains he's lost)
I actually thought his philosophy about our life of screen time was pretty great. Though I also enjoyed Jerry just ignoring him and talking to Josh, apart from the sarcastic "SHUT THE FUCK UP" laugh.
Good episode, the game looks meh as hell to me, but the guys reactions made it worth watching. This is what I come to first 15 for
Well that was a frustrating watch. More often than not this series seems to just be Mike shitting on anything that isn't Overwatch. The very nature of first 15 minutes lends itself to discovering new Indie games; if you only want to play AAA games, maybe stop doing these videos and make way for someone who isn't so bored and narrow-minded. Or maybe bring in Yahtzee, who is at least clever and amusing in his scathing criticism.
If you're going to record the full 15 minutes, please get Mike to shut the fuck up at some point when he starts acting like this. I thought the game looked quite intriguing, but it was hard to focus with him pointlessly shitting on everyone who might like it.

I thought the game looked like a cool idea in concept yet tiresome if I had to play it, but found Mike shitting on it intriguing and engaging.
Yeah, Mike was the best thing about that First 15 for me too. Interesting idea but looked boring as fuck, so I thought the homework analogy was pretty apt.

Man, he was straight up ignoring Mike for most of this.
