The rules are too simple for skirmish, with a name like Legion it should be a mass combat game.
I am watching this video showing guys playing and man does it look complicated. Or the FFG guy explaining it is not being very clear.
Oh, the video I saw made it look dead easy. Far far simpler than 40k, insanely simple conpared to something like Infinity.
Alternate unit activations, get two actions, if in range roll attack dice equal to what your card says, roll defense equal to the number of hits, inflict wounds.

That's really it.
But there are other details I would like to know since inmy experience wargamming is not very cut and dry when it comes to rules
The fucking worst. Just going backwards in quality. They had this sweet spot of small figures with super good articulation and then threw it away for crap junk.

They had both the crappy articulation and good ones at the same time. I have some of the good ones (slightly more expensive), but really don't know why they all aren't good. GI Joe had good articulation since the 80s. It actually detracts me from buying.
Standard FFG level rules, that is to say fine but not great and lacking in depth beyond a certain point. Command system was surprisingly interesting mind.

the $20 ones are trash for what they charge for them too. The faces almost never look like the character/actor, and most of the time look like they're recovering from a bunch of bee stings.
Was in a Walmart yesterday and noticed that they kinda broke street date for the new toys. So if anyone's interested, that might be happening in other stores as well.
Michael Kenneth Williams, an Emmy nominee for his supporting role in HBO’s The Night Of, will not be in the new Star Wars stand-alone Han Solo movie after all. His part has been cut amid the reshoots now underway with new director Ron Howard. Williams said the revamped production schedule conflicted with his commitment to spy drama The Red Sea Diving Resort, his new movie now shooting in South Africa with Ben Kingsley and Chris Evans.
“I felt great about what I created with the directors that I worked with,” said Williams, who was cast in the Han Solo origin story by original helming duo Phil Lord and Chris Miller, who exited in June. “It is what it is.”

I really don't see a scenario in which a) the Solo film turns out to be so abysmal that it's completely unwatchable or b) it's so bad that I won't see it first weekend like every other film in the series.

I can!
Humor can be dissected as a frog can, but dies in the process.
I don't know, I kind of like the utilitarian look of the dreadnought. It's a big solid looking slab of "fuck you, I got guns for days".
I think the size they slapped on it is ridiculous, but this is Star Wars, and the bad guys have always had overcompensation issues.

Still far cheaper than 40k.
If nothing else I'll be getting Legion to paint the models.
More stuff like Darth Maul and Rey fighting, please

Darth Maul was alive in the Clone Wars though...
I'm very resentful of them right now

Probe Droid AND Darth Vader
Hold on.... Have we really come so far that for a deluxe figure set Probe Droid gets top billing?
Oh sweet a probe Droid!!! Eh it comes with a Darth Vader too I guess.

It's alright

That was my initial reaction anyway

Steam
And I will always resent it because I won't get to see what it could have been
Unless loads of people say "it fucking rules!" and then I probably will. I might hate it, of course, but without recommendations I won't give it a go.
The days of me seeing any movie in a particular franchise are very far gone
Losing Michael K Williams sucks. Dude puts out quality work
New giant walker!!!

That's like
The First Order's whole thing though
They are the hyper radicalized remnants of the Empire who think it was the greatest thing in the galaxy and want to bring back that glory
Is that stupid trend "...... but Biggerer!"
Come on
