    Looks like he got fouled a bit after touching it, but definitely not two seconds.

    However, I'm fairly sure the NBA ruling is that the clock is stopped on the official's whistle, with a margin of error for human reaction times, and not stopped on the actual action that causes the whistle. You can't run the clock one way an entire game and then do it differently on the last few seconds just because the game is on the line.

    But I am biased, and I'd probably have the opposite opinion if this game had gone the other way, so probably don't listen to me. I might be wrong anyway.

    On another note, the only thing that makes me happier than sad Celtics players walking off the court is sad Celtics fans. I hope IT leaves in free agency so that I can cheer for him again.

    I don't think an extra second would have gotten them a shot any better than the one they got.

    EDIT1: Also, this was arguably a more significant missed call, so Celtics probably got the better end of the deal:



    EDIT2: On a separate late play, Al Horford also should have been called for a defensive 3 second tech foul, so there's another.
