Wicked Little Town is a song from Hedwig and the Angry Inch

Hedwig is, in the first place, an emotionally charged story of love, loss, queer issues in general, and trans issues in particular.

Wicked Little Town is, in my opinion, the best part of a good movie: the regrets and vulnerabilities which have been bubbling beneath the thematic surface, well… Now they are front and center! And in a beautiful, simple song that contains no pretensions and no misdirection.

    I have a problem with the query:
    “Please imagine a ladder, with steps numbered from 0 at the bottom to 10 at the top. The top of the ladder represents the best possible life for you and the bottom of the ladder represents the worst possible life for you. On which step of the ladder would you say you personally feel you stand at this time?”

    My best possible life is like, infinitely better than the life I currently lead, which is still pretty good; what should I put on the ladder?

    I had a show with my chorus today. Got a LOT of compliments about my voice. Very ego boosting. :) Also, I went to the after party and chilled with some cute girls from the chorus. The deep dark secret is that they love Justin Timberlake just a little TOO much. :D
