edit: how did I forget Don't Stop me Now
oh right because everything they did was made of gold and tasted like the rarest truffles soaked in 600-year-old brandy poured from a goblet made of diamonds and crystal clitori

Bolded for troof. I hate Flash's Theme, though... I mean, it was wonderful, as a theme for Flash Gordon, but as a stand-alone song, it is terrible. Also, and I loved this song before Shaun of the Dead and even more afterwards... Don't Stop Me Now.
I love that type of music in general, especially the sort of resurgence in swing and big band/mob type music lately. Cherry Poppin' Daddies, Royal Crown Revue, etc. Especially Zip Gun Bop.

Talking about oldies, enflamed Bhuddist monks, Elvis... y'know.
Prince or Freddy Mercury
it's a little embarrassing how much I love Elvis
Mercury
Prince just a girly woman
Prince is talented, if a bit weird. But Freddy Mercury, my god in heaven, that gay man could sing. And his mustache was authoritative and powerful.
Listen to Freddy's vocals on "Find Me Somebody To Love" and you can clearly see the man was fucking brilliant.
Edit: I love Elvis so much, guys. He was awesome. The guy who played Elvis in Walk The Line was pretty good.
that doesn't make it a wonderful thing now does it
and Freddy Mercury prob had a better range
but who got more ass?
what the FUCK are you talking about
did you just compare the beatles to the HOLOCAUST?!?!
GET THE FUCK OUT
that's how this works
but good god you're a fucking moron
like
you're approaching Cronyx levels, here
be very careful
You just compared John Lennon to Hitler. Or maybe Paul....
Would John have been Hitler or Gerring?
I like the way that you think
but it totally would have been Paul
But there it is
it's ok
I didn't mean it
also, Good Old Fashioned Loverboy
and Flash's Theme
and Princes of the Universe
and Bohemian Rhapsody
and Killer Queen
and Bicycle Races
and so many songs

the forum thrives on hyperbole
it'd be pretty boring without it

An ineffable tragedy of the human spirit that still resonates, even today.

I love ska. I love it so much.
skankers unite
But my music options are largely limited to what is on the radio and what is on the radio
There's this band that i like called Five Iron Frenzy, but a lot of their songs have christian themes, and I'm not sure how I feel about that...
Anyway... REEL BIG FISH, WOOOO!
"Long Away" is a great one that isn't mentioned often.
The thread title made me think of "Jump Into the Fire" by Harry Nilsson.
