I finally cracked and watched that final (final?) KH3 trailer and yooooooooooo this game is gonna do some shit
the endgame here looks dope as hell
and it's actually really weirdly cool seeing the core KH characters in the Birth By Sleep locations? just a brief shot of Sora fighting a LOT of Heartless in the Keyblade Graveyard was enough for me to go "oh man shit is getting REAL"
it also looks like another game that will be very mean to Axel
I'm just as excited to actually play this game as I am to experience the story stuff
It looks like it's combining the best aspects of all of the games into something really excellent, I'm definitely going to play Fragmentary Passage again once I finish DDD to really prime myself
I just watched the cutscenes for the mobile game, Union X
I feel like I know less about Kingdom Hearts than I did before hand!
Does the entirety of the series take place in this book dimension?
How the hell is Ventus still 15 so many years later
Who knows!
Seriously, we really have no idea. In the world of Union X, we have almost no concrete information and are running mostly on fan theories.

Simple & Clean
Nobody is at the head of this ship, every time you think you have your bearings BAM iceberg and the band plays somberly as we all panic.
Humor can be dissected as a frog can, but dies in the process.
One lore thing introduced in DDD that I don't love
"destroying a Heartless and a Nobody of a person revives that person!"
it sure would seem like that would actually mean they're super SUPER dead then, but okay
and I'd even accept it in the case of Xehanort, since we saw the battle between his Heartless and his Nobody
but using it to bring back basically the entire Organization just feels kinda lame and an excuse to have boss fights in 3, since their explanation is "I guess along the way at some point each of their Heartless just happened to get destroyed completely offscreen, what a coincidence!"
like man does it have to be the WHOLE Organization
I beat the hell out of Marluxia! I don't wanna see Marluxia again! at least let that guy stay dead!
Keep in mind that
Some of them could be time travelers like the other Norts.

the only ones we know for certain are Lea, Ïsa, Ienzo, Aeleus, Evan, and Braig.
Xennas is super dead because Master Xehanort’s personality has taken full control of the body now.
I...man it's been a while I don't remember them being that different. Then again, I spent most of the game playing as Riku cuz he gets the cool ass Command Styles.
I've reached World That Never Was in DDD and I've lost grip on what the hell is going on
how exactly does Billy Zane appearing to Sora at Destiny Island set up all of this to happen, I'm definitely not getting the implications of this time travel stuff
here's what I've got: Xehanort destroying himself worked threefold
it created Billy Zane to control the Heartless, Xemnas to control the Nobodies, and allowed Xehanort's heart to time travel
but I'm not sure what the time traveling actually accomplishes
I'm a little late here, but feel like I should clear up some misconceptions about Castle Oblivion (major BBS and COM spoilers)
Castle Oblivion was formerly the Land of Departure. At the end of Aquas story, she hides Ven's body in the throne room at Land of Departure, then uses Eraqus's key as he instructed to transform the palace into Castle Oblivion. Only Aqua know how to get to Ventus.
Of course, Terranort knew about the Land of Departure and subsequently Castle Oblivion, so Xemnas sent a team of Org members to Castle Oblivion to find Ventus, but Marluxia used the opportunity to hijack Sora and use Namine to mind wipe him to use Sora for Marluxias ends.
As such, the Castle itself doesn't erase memories, that's just the excuse Marluxia gave for it happening while Namine was doing her work.

The castle causes some sort of fuckery right? When Aqua is doing the transformation and you hear Eraqus explaining it all he says something about how it causes some sort of fuckery that would cause anyone besides her trying to go in there to get lost and forget stuff or something to that nature.

there are 3 rules to time travel.
1: you can’t travel with your physical body; you need to be able to cast off your body and have just your heart and soul travel. This is why Browncloak Ansem was able to do so easily; as a Heartless, he was already a creature without his normal body. It’s kind of an arbitrary rule, since a person who is just their heart can have a temporary body made for them out of, like, Magic, but it’s a rule.
2: you can only travel to places and times where you actually exist. So, no going past your birth or death, and you can only land where you actually were. This is why Browncloak being on Destiny Islands is so important. He’s a version of Xehanort, so Young Xehanort was able to use him as a destination.
3: you can’t alter history with it. It’s the kind of time travel where you can’t “change the future”, because you already did
Basically, the point of Browncloak being where he was was to allow the Xehanorts to go to the islands and pull off their plan.
Also fun BBS fact, Nomura had Mark Hamill do the voice of Eraqus and Leonard Nimoy do Xehanort because he was a huge Star Wars and Star Trek fan and wanted to set up a Wars vs Trek scenario in the game.

If I had to sing while looking at that thing, I’d probably end up blind from “oops, peripheral vision said to look over here and that’s just a bare lightbulb” every 2 seconds.
What are some good methods of dealing with the bullshit that is sniper wild farming?
I’ve seen using mushu and dumbo but I’m at the end game so these have increased health vs the ones that show up at the beginning.
Spamming Thundara or Thundaga from the roof until twelve are dead then retreating because after twelve their detection goes off the charts and they will see you up there.
Bring as many MP things you can stuff into your item spots and a strong magic Keyblade

Oh that's a good idea. I was trying lots of various tricky things I saw online but one time I got so fed up with them that I just ran in there and started spamming Firaga and that ended up working just fine.

his levels are noticeably shorter than Sora's, sometimes half as long or even less
Yup, which led to the problem for me where I was dropping back into Riku mode when I didn't have anything else for him left to do.
Thank you. This is just what I needed... an audio recap that I can play while doing other chores.

I love Riku on the Hunchback level
It's canon now that Riku has the magic ability to know a cop when he sees one
If only Riku were here, we would know for sure
I wish Riku were here, he's so cool
I think the question you should be asking yourself is "how important is bbs to the command board".
