20 seasons for just the base series. Spanning from 1990 to 2010. Shit that seems interesting to watch just to see the massive technological leaps in the time frame.
That doesn't even include criminal intent or svu or the foriegn series, or the technical spinoff and/or inclusive series within the universe like homicide: life on the streets.
Technically that universe includes the entire Chicago: PD/Chicago: fire/Chicago:med stack as well
