one hand has the Soul, Mind, and Reality gems. If you get slashed by those claws your entire existence is erased from reality, and even your soul is destroyed. On the other hand (heh) if you get cut by the other set of claws that have the Power, Time, and Reality gems your essence gets exploded across all of time and space simultaneously. Also Wolverine totally beats up Thanos and steals his space chair.

I'm imagining this done as a Pixar style short and picturing the next scene where the agent has to call over a supervisor because the year of birth field says 1848.

I'm cool with Mephisto cracking jokes sometimes because I like a smarmy Satan but this is like 6 bridges too far
I am baffled because I constantly see writers and comics folks I like say IIM is one of their favorite books right now but everything I read of it and have seen of it looks like garbage

My problem is that this doesn't feel like Mephisto. No, this is Bendis himself stopping the action so that he can walk out and spend an entire page talking at the reader.

The fact that we got Logan, a story about everything good about Wolverine's legacy being passed down to Laura as she banishes the last vestiges of it's horror from the earth, earning all this buzz and praise and deservedly so
And then Marvel chooses to lean away from the comics reflecting that

Yes. It was a beautiful story because it was an ending for the character, which is a rare and wonderful thing in comics (and comics-related media).
And Marvel is now busily demonstrating why that's so, digging up the corpse and shocking it back to life so it can go for another run and make them more money. (Sounds hellish, doesn't it?)
Weirdly, from the issues I read of the new run, he's being more like Deadpool. In that he basically just started giving the Spider-man gig to other people a lot of the time.

It looks like three: Avengers, Uncanny Avengers, and USAvengers, and the ad there credits the writers of those three books.
The gist of what I've seen has the frame story be Avengers BC with
Wolverine's resurrection coming from that
with little glimpses of other stories from around the MU that pop up in Legacy to set up other storylines.
