Everyone talks about "being in" Game of Thrones assuming they'd be part of the 20 people in the world that matter and not the 20 million that just spent their time sitting in dirt waiting to be horribly murdered

That's the survivalist fallacy.
You got this whole movement who kinda thinks the post-apocalypse would be cool because all the rules are gone and you can really see if you're made for survival and hey it's kind of okay to shoot people now
completely glossing over the fact that it gets to this point because most people are dead, and you're most people.

Nobody thinks about how terrible it would all smell
It's also worth noting that from what I've read, pretty much all sociologists agree that in an apocalyptic decimated humanity scenario, the survivors would almost immediately group together and form basic societies and start building back up (and in fact this very thing has happened in human history and we're still here).
It would be more The Leftovers than The Walking Dead.
I'd wanna live in a (n Earth-based) Michael Schur show. Mostly like the world I know now, but one predisposed toward happy endings and the triumph of friendship and general human decency.

Listen if the worst thing that could happen to me is to become an accordion for a couple minutes, sign me up. I wanna live forever. Even if it's as an edgy version of myself airbrushed onto a t-shirt.
Look if the nukes started falling I'd be hoping to be the among the firs to die.
I'd probably drive somewhere I think would get hit.
Thanks to the NukeMap site, I can estimate exactly what will happen if the nukes start falling, based on my location.
So if they do, I really hope they're more than 800kt. Because I like my skin, and don't really want to live without it, so I'd really prefer to be in the torn apart by shockwave range.
Before following any advice, opinions, or thoughts I may have expressed in the above post, be warned: I found Keven Costners "Waterworld" to be a very entertaining film.
New answer. It would be pretty rad to live in Pete and Pete. That's a pretty cool place.
If I was still a kid I'd have been all about the Recess world. That show was my ideal of what being a kid should be like. Adults in that world seem pretty boring tho, most of the time.

I would probably go with Hey Arnold myself. If only because I know what being a Gus in Recess means.

Gus had a whole gang of friends though so it still woulda been an upgrade for me.

No.
But I can imagine how much Tahani would passively insult it though.
Jimmy Dean you are bad at reading
I'm going to swerve and say my point still stands.
I'm going to wait til it eventually comes to bluray maybe?
Also if I lived in a TV show it'd probably be TNG.

not all that interested in being enslaved to Bloodlord Frausus, really
Oh, come now, the name's a misnomer
He's more of a Bloodduke
My roommate resents all of you because I refuse to watch Netflix's Iron Fist, and he blames you all for peer pressuring me into watching it.
I'd probably drive somewhere I think would get hit.
I bet he'd lay off the public executions if he found himself a Bloodduchess, knowwhaImean

For live action I would also say TNG so long as I wasn't on the Enterprise.
literally the most dangerous choice
But you are a cartoon character and thus would receive no lasting damage.
Also I can pull a comically large sandwich out of a tiny bag whenever I want.
wouldn't they get old?
Being unable to die and forever trapped in a cycle of violence and the same old sandwiches sounds like hell to me!
Who said they had to be the same sandwich?
Over an infinite lifespan, all the sandwiches would get exhausted.
Turkey's a little dry...
Turkey's a little dry!?
No way man! This is YOU in that series. You don't get to alter to fit it's genre otherwise there's no challenge
I'm sorry you already exist in the porn reality
Not my kind of porn

Not as a starship captain or anything. That's dangerous and hard.
Just... just bummin' it back on Earth.
